We have still the “king on his throne; behind him a figure veiled in black.” This could be unexpected separation or even betrayal, or else just the suspicion of that. One ought not to be so ambitious or egoistic as to make others jealous or envious. A simpler life may attract less opposition. “A man in armor bearing a shield” has the assurance that comes from being fully prepared and equipped for whatever happens. He is “brave, faithful in his dealings and just to his fellows,” and therefore secure.
The Pisces emphasis makes us all seekers of truth. “A serpent standing erect within a circle of fire” “manifests much wisdom and will attain to high distinction in the pursuit of scientific study. He will take life at the crisis and turn it back from the Gates of Death.” There might be “a very rough sea, a wreck;” but “the life-boat is dispatched and all are finally rescued.” Charubel remarks: “Thou shalt save many, and thou shalt save thyself,” as “an active philanthropist.”
“A portly man walks among pigeons, which flock upon the ground at his feet.” One might be attracted to young persons, through “ a pacific and benevolent mind which inspires confidence and faith in others.” One’s “footsteps will be followed in security” while “life goes on by easy ways.” “Man seeking illumination” do so through “a living tradition of spiritual achievement” or “some form of an apostolic succession” which demonstrates immortality. We feel dedicated to “the potentialities to which we must devote ourselves to be ourselves.”
