Moon in Aries-->Taurus
/moon goes void-of-course at 6:52a PT | 9:52a ET | 1:52p UT
until it enters Taurus at 9:51a PT | 12:51p ET | 4:51p UT
We start out with the strongest indications of the day. "A man bringing down the new law from Sinai" suggests that one can be in touch with the Highest and His or Her "new laws" for one's life. One's mandates for oneself can be self-chosen, yet in subordination to the wisdom of the One. "A true Solar man" reflects the sun's rising in its splendor, and he or she is "destined to rule or command." When self-confidence is rooted in something real, others bow to it. (Charubel says that we should "look to the south-east for success in all matters of a worldly nature." Hmm, maybe I should visit the grocery store lying to the south-east of my home. Or move to Florida, which I would like to do, hah.)
"A woman" remains "disappointed and disillusioned" as discussed yesterday, still suffering under the rays of Venus's conjunction with Saturn which bring out hard issues in relationships. But a setback is a chance for clearing away whatever is not working, for the sake of something better. "A serpent is coiling near a man and a woman." Dr. Jones says this could be "a surrender to lower or transient impulses," or else "the emotional and rational elements of selfhood" could "achieve their unity through the creative ordering of a universal wisdom." All this could have a "phallic significance" yet be, in essence, deeper understanding of relationships through personal revelation.
In lighter moments one might equip oneself and friends with "a cup, a pack of playing cards, and dice." Not dissipated gambling, this could be merre fun rather than "spoliation." One wants to win yet laughs at losing. The moon in Taurus could lead to "a jewelry shop" where one "seeks to give an effective durability to the rewards of one's effort." "The world at large" has "a kaleidoscopic capacity for producing and reproducing whatever an individual may require in the way of immediate realities." Luxury, not always trivial or selfish, is a way of preserving values and treasuring them.
