The exhilarating feeling many are having now has a lot to do with the five or (today) six planets in Aries. It is a sign of infinite expectation! Nothing is impossible! The first sign of the zodiac is like a young boy. However, all this has been hindered by the fact that Mercury in that sign has been retrograde; now it is advancing more speedily day by day. Also, it and Mars are escaping from their opposition with Saturn retrograde in Libra. This was and remains difficult. Libra rules the kidneys, and Sai Baba, a world teacher with millions of devotees, passed on while part of his physical problem was related to the kidneys. Then yesterday I learned that an old friend had a serious kidney problem. One can only pray about such things and hope that some day, when astrologers, spiritual healers, and physicians join hands as they should, we will be able to heal in ways we can't envision as yet. I do not have a pat explanation of what "kidney trouble" signifies spiritually. In Sai Baba's case, my guess is that he was taking on the world's karma.
Let us affirm and believe that love will heal kidney problems!
Saturn in Libra, bitterly afflicting the world through the quest for balance and justice in Arab regions, also comes out in another way---the royal wedding. Why? Because Libra is the sign of Venus (with Taurus) and of relationships.
And so I feel a little sad that I jocosely chided the royal family for not using astrology to choose the wedding date. Venus in Aries opposing Saturn in Libra (with four other planets) is a perfect signature of something happening in the world in regard to relationships. The royal wedding was a symptom of that or, as one might say, the royals were "taking on the karma" of relationships for everybody!
In other words, the royal couple focused the world's attention on what relationships mean. This has been exhilarating because of the Aries planets, but sobering because of the Saturn-retrograde-in-Libra (Aries's opposite sign) phenomenon. If Aries is a boy, Saturn in Libra could be a mature woman reflecting on her past relationships or her lost marriage. I could not help wondering what Charles felt during the wedding. Those serious, solemn, almost frightful vows, as made intense in the Church of England's ritual, might have fallen on his head like a thunderbolt since he must have been recalling his own marriage to Diana. What did those solemn vows mean to him then, and at their divorce, and at her tragic passing?
And just so others must have been reflecting on their own lives or marriages, among the millions who watched the wedding or are re-seeing it.
From commitment, loyalty and its suffering comes poignancy and soul growth. That is Saturn retrograde in Libra, and we are living through it now.
It is "opposed" or balanced by the five Aries planets, the youthful sense of infinite possibilities yet to be realized. This heady mixture means that "dead" relationships are revived, or seen in a new light which makes them fresh, or reveals a meaning in them one can live with.
Saturday looks good for household matters, business, careful purchases or deals, organizing possessions, and friendship. There could be even more romance or friendliness than on Friday. Technically we are still in the |stressful third of this week| but that is mollified by many factors. Working out from the stress is exhilarating.
Saturday is better than Sunday for getting things accomplished, so even if you are Jewish or Seventh-Day Adventist I would suggest making Sunday your sabbath this week. On Sunday the moon goes void-of-course at 8:21a PT | 11:21a ET | 3:21p UT. Since it is also the "dying moon" or in its final phase before the New Moon early Tuesday, there are two reasons for Sunday to be a time of recovery, rest, and peace. If there are necessary things to do, a minimum of bother would be the right formula.

The day's planetary patterns suggest conclusively that the British Royal Family does not have an astrologer, or, if they do, he ought to be canned!
It is a terrible day for a wedding! The moon will be void of course until 5:34 p.m. GMT, long after the ceremony. Further, Venus is opposing Saturn within two degrees. There are some other good aspects, but these two factors alone would be enough to scotch this as a favorable wedding date.
For those of us in the Western Hemisphere the moon goes back on course earlier (for us) when it enters Aries at 10:34a PT | 1:34p ET.
It's a good day for household organization and domestic matters. You can work with your possessions and arrange or dispose of them helpfully.
Someone told me that she had been feeling dizzy lately. How about you? I must admit that I noticed some of that while the moon has been void of course in Pisces. Then I recalled that Saturn is in Libra, the sign of balance. I found that for myself the dizziness cleared up when I got back to my rather strenuous form of hatha yoga.
The more subtle form of "dizziness" having to do with a lack of direction should clear up after the time given.
It's a tough day. The |stressful third of each week| is hitting us on Fridays and Saturdays now, for several weeks to come. There is a feeling of fate or fatefulness. You do what you must do. There are so many factors to dispose or arrange. Doing that efficiently could be your glory.
A fated, slow, pageant-like glamor is what Neptune in a prominent position suggests, because she is septile both Pluto on one side and the Mars-Jupiter conjunction on the other. This is spiritually strengthening, and might suggest that the wedding on which the world is focused has a hidden meaning which is calm, strong and fortifying rather than outwardly thrilling. Those who ignore the ceremony will get the same inner feeling of silently compelling destiny with a mysterious grandeur.

~Easy Might Do It~
All is rather mysterious. You may feel things are topsy-turvy, while something is missing. Life is not a meaningless mistake! I say that to reassure myself as well as you. There could be a test of your faith . . . it looks sometimes that people are chasing their tails or driving in circles or on a treadmill. This could be a time to rest more, take more breaks, and let your inner self decide what to do at each moment rather than map it out rigidly with your mind.
Business would go better if it were regarded as really a service, in other words, if you consider your clients' or customers' needs seriously.
What feels like or looks like illness in others or yourself could be hypertension and worry, combining to manifest as seemingly physical difficulties. So the spiritual dimension of refreshment is essential.
Venus opposing Saturn, getting stronger, can be too much worry about self-regard or what people think of you. It's the "nobody loves me, nobody understands me" aspect. However, since others are going through it also, you can adjust yourself to it if you are in the know. It might explain peculiar reactions in people.
Where to go first, whom to call first, what to do first? This may seem like a merry-go-round from Hell! So the easy-going approach is best. Maybe if you feel you have all eternity, you will actually be more efficient than if you rush. Something will show you the next easy step. Looking too far beyond that could make you stumble.
Real friends are smooth, kindly or understanding. Their own uncertainties make them tolerant of yours.

~Onward with Strength and Savoir Faire~
[There was no forecast for Tuesday because of rare problems: no computer to use! The borrowed ones were also not available. Now I have a new one.]
Wednesday should be quite smooth, with a feeling that you are getting back on your feet. (I said that without thinking of the fact that the moon is in Pisces, sign of the feet!) This might be specially true before the moon forms its sextiles with the sun and Pluto at 12:53p PT | 3:53p ET | 7:53p UT, for after that it will be void-of-course. No worries, but things then may be out-of-pattern or harder to manage.
Organizing at home or headquarters seems important. You may feel this as an adventure no matter how difficult. You care also about perfection in your work and may devote time and energy to improving it.
Learning or study contains interesting surprises. You do not resist being obsessed with certain topics or teachings if you know they are helping you.
Friends are valuable and inspiring. Communications could go in awkward directions after the time given above, but not if you are casual in what you say rather than overly serious. If seeking a commitment from anyone, the earlier time is better. If merely wanting to chat, later is okay.
There is strength and energy to persist in what you have decided upon, and your doubts are less disturbing than before Monday.
Plans involving travel or home may soar happily. You have the wherewithal to do what you hope, no matter what temporary complications, for you are conquering those.

As mentioned a few times last week, this day has good potentials as a coming-out-from the Mercury Retrograde cycle (although the DHE or Dark Hermetic Epoch is with us for another two weeks). Organizing things should proceed quite effectively. Costs, possessions, and home costs such as rent or mortgage, are on your mind. There could be buying and selling, or just giving, as in eliminating what is not needed. There is, for most, increasing optimism about money while the sun forms a trine with Pluto in earth signs.
Considering your career may be significant---your worries about it have to do with developing or discovering significant opportunities, and that should be easier for the next two months, although some improvements will not be evident until the second week of May and later.

\Wisdom at a Practical Turning Point/
Mercury turns direct at 3:05a PT | 6:05a ET | 10:05a UT, which is good news, and yet if you haven't already you should read or re-read what I wrote about that in Friday's report. We may not be feeling the real benefits of Mercury's now-very-slow forward motion for a couple more weeks. The Dark Hermetic Epoch continues.
What happens Saturday depends largely on how you pick up the "bucket" in the sky. It might be considered to have two "handle planets" in the current configuration, with the sun moving out to form a possible handle. The planet you are able to emphasize in your life would be the high-focus planet for now. Either Saturn or the sun. Now much as we try to avoid Saturn, he is essential, and protective when handled well, and he is warning you about certain things you need to take care of---in terms of money, home, and perhaps relationships. Old stuff that won't go away until you take care of it. Maybe organizing possessions, as one possibility; settling debts; clearing away obstacles. You may be thinking of happy possibilities at a distance, not today but later; before you can get to them these other things need to be done.
If that sounds like what has been going on for a few weeks, true---and it continues, but perhaps with a more effective way of finishing it up now that Mercury is direct. "Let's get this done" could be the mood.
If so, I might suggest trying to do as much of that as possible before the moon goes void-of-course at 5:14p PT | 8:14p ET | 12:14a(Su) UT. After that a more relaxed Saturday evening would be appropriate. All day we have the second day of the |stressful third of this week| so the mood is serious and focused.
You probably are estimating yourself fairly harshly and realizing what you need to realize about what you want to do with the rest of your life and some, at least, of the approaches to that. This comes from the Saturn prominence plus the final stages of the Jupiter-Saturn opposition (once every 20 years) plus Mercury at its station. Yes, it feels like a turning point. So you are "screwing up your courage."
It's the kind of day when death could be on your mind. This does not have to be morose. You might think of those who have passed from this world and how you want to live to honor them. (I got that from purely astrological indications, and then realized that of course for Christians this is the day the Saviour spent apparently dead in his tomb and, according to some accounts, visited those in the underworld).
It appears you have figured out or are estimating just what to do to keep your finances in shape.
Now, suppose you try to pick up the "bucket" by the other handle, Sol. That would be, in a way, your own deepest self, since each of us is a reflection of the sun's life and consciousness animating our planetary system. The sun in Taurus is becoming practical and bounteous, with the onset of Spring and greenery. Maybe you want to garden, or just plan on the coming splendours of Spring and Summer. Once you get the "Saturn stuff" out of the way, the old stuff you have to clear, you will be strong and masterful in your new world. It is well to remember that when things seem bleak.

\Light Approaching Down that Tunnel?/
The M\R (Mercury retrograde) period has been a tough one for me; I don't know about you. It began on March 30 and ends early Saturday morning (the time was given in yesterday's report). Yet it does not end: That is the sad news I have to report very seriously: because my discovery of the Dark Hermetic Epoch has proved (to me) that the effects of a "slow Mercury" (rather than retrograde) are almost the same as the actual retrogradation. So I put the Dark Epoch as ending on May 11.
Sorry, but I am a careful observer and a realist. I would estimate that about 40 to 60 per cent of the difficulties of the Retrograde period continue until that time. Things should be somewhat easier and get easier by the day, at least theoretically, but be prepared . . . One reason critics of astrology have rejected the Mercury Retrograde phenomenon is that on the day after Mercury turns direct, everything does not get immediately better! Lo and behold, things are still a mess. So, they conclude, astrology is bunk. I saw this in the 1970s and wrote a very well-received article about it in Horoscope Magazine which has since been re-published (but I do not have it any more). What I said there I say here in spades if you are attentive to these reports.
The Dark Hermetic Epoch, which only I know how to calculate (though I have given the secret out here, no one seems to be interested), is a real phenomenon you can cut with a knife. The happenings of 9/11/01 occurred a few hours after the beginning of a Dark Hermetic Epoch. It always begins from two to three weeks before the beginning of the (approximately) three-week Mercury Retrograde period. So even without my method of calculation you can, in the future, estimate it roughly.
That secret ought to be enough for today . . . I am harried by "too much to do" which is a M\R phenomenon.
Friday: The |difficult or emotionally troublesome or stressful third of this week| is Friday and Saturday; Sunday should be better at least after the moon enters Aquarius at 11a PT | 2p ET | 6p UT.
Friday has a focus on accomplishment, travel, home changes, organization, and career. Is that enough? I wish I could say fun and entertainment! Well, you could go for that, but be prepared for an inner mood which doesn't want to make life so much a party as a project. So you may feel uneasy in the midst of so-called entertainment, wishing you were home doing something important, creative or necessary.
I would not be surprised if I am considered a Grinch, losing readers by the handful!
If you want a "This is a 10-Star day for Taurus!" report you will have to go to the newspapers.
However, you will feel happy when getting things done on Friday. Is not that immensely reassuring?
For good news I can report that the prominence of Saturn in the sky may be diminishing gradually by the day (as is the Dark Hermetic Epoch after Saturday) because the sun (geocentrically) is moving out from the bowl configuration of the planets to form a bucket pattern with Sol as the handle . . . a highly promising pattern which would change the emphasis from the "debt-paying and old-business backtracking and reorganizing" of the past few weeks to a much more can-do mood, the sun being masterful when in high focus. You may get glimmers of this on Sunday and Monday even though it may take a couple weeks for the trend to become definite and satisfying.

Some basics: the moon goes void of course at 9:58p PT | 12:58p ET | 4:58p UT, just after its beneficent trine with Jupiter (Sagittarius to Aries). Before that time could be the best part of the day for definite choices or agreements. (If you observe the void-of-course times carefully and what happens during them you will gradually "get a handle" on what they mean in your own life. They are not futile or pointless but usually "out of pattern" in some way which you will discern if you observe.)
There could be happy events, meetings, and pleasures. Your work seems to go smoothly for the most part. Questions about friendship or relying on someone or someone relying on you will gradually be untangled. Friday begins the |more likely stressful or emotionally worrisome third of this week|. But Saturday Mercury turns direct (very early in the morning in the Western Hemisphere, 10:05 a.m. Universal Time or Greenwich Mean Time). So the weekend, even if morose at first, will be a good time for letting your mind straighten or smooth things out, and Sunday looks quite nice, as well as Monday.

First I'll say that this could be the best day of the week for getting things done because tomorrow the moon goes void of course at about 1 p.m. Eastern Time (U.S.). Tomorrow morning is good up to that time (10 a.m. or so on the West Coast). Deals, purchases, negotiations and choices would be better today or tomorrow up to that time than for the rest of the week. But for major matters I would recommend waiting until Monday the 25th when Mercury will be direct and lunar aspects are good. (I am planning to shop for and hopefully purchase a couple of major items then, hoping my judgment in selection will be better.) For major major major matters maybe waiting until May 11 or later would be wise, although the period from the 23rd to then is better than the past month.
The sun has entered Taurus today, while the moon is in Sagittarius. Spring has sprung, whether or not the weather in your area shows that. Moods should be relatively upbeat and can-do, although with Mercury retrograde much can remain slow or obstructive.
Disputes and differences are with us, as they have been for weeks, with four Aries planets opposed to Saturn in Libra. Old karma is hitting us. I believe that retrograde planets show that, and Saturn, Pluto and Mercury are all in that backward condition and a T-square with one another. It's partially a debt-paying process. (I have been hit with more extra costs this month, including taxes, than in the past year.) Defensive measures are wise, up to the point where they become paranoid. More than that, you can be resourceful in your use of everything you own and your living situation, which seems to be undergoing careful change or evolution. Those with malicious intent have used this day (Hitler's birthday) for evil purposes (bombings and killings) but there is no reason for that to happen this time. An inquisitive tendency can equip you for travel ahead, or for changes in your home situation. You feel adventurous but willing to do the hard stuff which makes adventure possible and safe.

Those are of course more likely in places where there is warfare or political protest and I hope this will not be tragic. People should exercise care in such situations, and then the good prognosis of paragraph 1 will prove true. The Mars force can be used in slow, diligent ways (such as those of a mechanic or carpenter, most of whom are male) rather than in inane adolescent violence. Calm is needed so that Mars can do his work peacefully.

I'll take the risk of saying today should be smoother than yesterday. We all know by now the slowness, delay and sometimes confusion of Mercury retrograde (until Saturday, though the Dark Hermetic Epoch lasts until May 11) so I will not harp on that. It is still with us. The lunar aspect to bank on is the moon's trine with Venus building up to its peak in the evening (or early morning of Wednesday in the Eastern Hemisphere). It will help all day.
There is work to be done and you may feel alone, or private, while doing it. You want to be independent and this has a cost in isolation. But you may be justifiably proud of what you are doing away from the public eye. By being reliable in your own way you are a bulwark for the world.
It's hard to face certain issues which take time to heal or settle, whether in work or matters of personal well-being. You may be melancholy when facing them but the melancholy keeps you moving toward solutions. Daydreaming in which you indulge at times need not be an obstacle but could release you from worry so you actually get more accomplished.

As I write on Sunday I can feel the moon in the Via Combusta as well as the |difficult third of the week.| This latter will be gone on Monday, which helps, but the Via Combusta remains until Tuesday. That day may be smoother than today (Monday) for many purposes, although today has its good points.
Honest labor will be rewarded. There is an energy which could go awry if one were to get involved in fights or arguments, but that need not be so. Higher potentials bring out unity and harmony in perhaps surprising ways, so it is wise to keep that hope alive.
There is a solitary trend which somehow becomes social when it runs up against unusual human contacts. So you do not need to fight the solitary trend; it will be socialized helter-skelter without planning. Those who seem down on their luck and morose will lighten up when someone creates a more childlike spontaneous ambiance.

I wonder how many noticed yesterday's this week's brouhaha over sleeping? The U. S.'s chief air traffic controller resigned because too many controllers had dozed off on duty! Then Joe Biden was caught nodding during a speech by the President! And how many times have I mentioned, during this Mercury retrograde period, that you might need extra rest? Also, quite amazingly, the Sabian symbol for the degree Saturn occupied, 13-14 Libra, is "A noon siesta." (It moves out of that degree, going backward, today, Saturday.) Then this morning (Friday) I overslept, for the first time in quite a while. Adjusting sleep and waking times, and perhaps studying one's dreams, is frequent during the Mercury retrograde period.
Today (Saturday) and Sunday constitute the |stressful or worrisome third| of this week. However, these times are good for focusing on essentials, while letting trivia and amusement go by the board. One wants to face what is serious.
It could be an appropriate gardening day, although gloomy weather is frequent during the weekly periods marked ||.
You could reformulate some of your plans by cutting back on details or rearranging them. When feeling glum about prospects, you can tinker with plans and find that a few adjustments make you feel better. Reversals are a chance to pick yourself up and try again.

Oh well, just get through this day!
Sorry, but I am rather weary of trying to buck up our confidence every day. Good things can happen while Mercury is retrograde, but we have to struggle more to make them happen. My basic advice is to emphasize the spiritual during these times. When material affairs are stuck or very slow, spiritual support is more needed. Then, after that refreshing link with Source, one can return to necessary activities revitalized.
Those who do not know how to link with their spiritual Source (it can be Jesus for Christians; guru, prayer or scripture for those of any faith) have a harder time because during the M\R cycle they tend to be so frustrated that they turn to idle diversions, drink or drugs or escapism, and generally make things worse for themselves and others. That could be true for many today. Another ruinous potential is devious or perverse forms of magic or sorcery, which might attract some because of an emphasis in the sixth and eighth horoscope sectors. There is such a thing as white magic, of course (no reference to race naturally).
Most likely it is a work day; and the 6th house rules work as well as magic. Magic is an attempt to get "others" or invisible forces to work for one. If it works, it is somebody's work. Meanwhile the Sabian Healing Ritual has the phrase ". . . proving service a magic indeed." For most of us the most sensible and useful form of magic is service. (Even doing your taxes is a form of service.)
A glimmer of hope for pleasures and satisfactions is inspiring: the carrot in front of the donkey. Someone in a position of power is disposed to aid or approve of you, though it may be hard to trust that. You have the equipment to do what you need to do, and may in fact cut back on equipment you don't need. Enough is enough. Your creative side could attain inventive insight which astounds.
Being solitary is all right. We need to do it at times. Enchanting visions or pastimes may be what help you find your relaxed center and let good things happen outward from it. It is better to take the relaxed, simple, easy, lonesome road than to push toward something which could either waste time or be injurious. Women are learning, and have been for decades, how to escape from exploitation. There may be hints of that today. The wisest learn how to do it without diminishing the best side of their femininity. Mutual denigration is one bane of the human race.
A more sensual side of the day could be sheer laziness, or an attempt to coast on others' labors. This is not always wrong if it is a result of one's good karma (effort or sacrifice in the past). There is cultivated elegance which is not always snobby in the worst sense. Those who are privileged deserve the privileges if they use them elegantly and wisely. Some such tendency is effective in those whose quiet healing and uplifting influence accomplishes far more than is generally recognized.

Despite the slowness, backtracking, and delay of Mercury retrograde (until April 23), today has good potentials for making things better. That's especially true before the moon goes void of course (after its trine with the sun from Leo to Aries) at 12:59p PT | 3:59p ET | 7:59p UT. After that the mood remains okay but there may be drifting, cruising, or rest.
We are all tired of Mercury being retrograde, but let me say: It has its good points. The bad points: NATO took control of the Libya operation on the day Mercury went retrograde, and there is much criticism of its role since then. I am not saying I or you could have done better as strategists or commanders, but it is obvious that the Libyan situation is more "sticky" than was supposed. All together now: "Mercury retrograde!" In Japan the nuclear problem and potential of disaster seems to get worse rather than better. So our chant of "Mercury retrograde" has no joy in it.
However, I think you will see the good points in your own life. For example, you can get rid of things and notions which have been gumming up your life. That means that you confront the "sticky" side of this period and get rid of the stuck or sticking stuff. I have been able to cast out quite a few possessions which were doing neither me nor anyone any good. If one thing you wanted to do fails or is blocked, this is a clue to you to do something else you have been postponing---something less glamorous but more essential. Retreating Mercury teaches us these lessons.
Another example: If preparing for a future possibility or definite plan, you can make headway while Mercury is retrograde, but it will be slower than expected and will involve "clearing away" obstacles more than proceeding forward. It's the preliminaries which need attention and dispatch. "Preliminaries" often are old business which has to be taken care of before proceeding.
Wednesday: Reorganizing things at home could be a focus. Relationships are a focus, even if nothing conclusive develops. If you're reading this Tuesday, I would recommend getting in touch with people then, or early Wednesday, before the time given above, for deals, agreements, requests, or negotiation.

Would you believe that the moon is void-of-course again? As mentioned, this is happening more frequently of late, for another month or so. That it is happening during a Mercury Retrograde period makes it even harder. I don't know whether to say "Buck up" or "Lie down" because that depends on a lot of factors. If you have necessities to finish which are crucial, buck up! If you don't, and need a break desperately, lie down!
The void-of-course period will end when the moon leaves Gemini for Cancer at 2:03p PT | 5:03p ET | 9:03p UT. (I hope those of you in Europe or India can easily convert this last Univeral Time to your local time. If I had a dozen Indian readers I would give Indian time also but I may have only one or two.)
The void-of-course periods are natural "vacation" periods, and so is the Mercury Retrograde period (up to April 23), and today is the Hebrew Sabbath, so---this might be a triply proper vacation day. Or, if there are things you must do, you might do them gently, easily, with plenty of breaks, and music in the background (if that is what you like).
Writing for everyone, I have to temper the hard or disastrous indications down to the level of the statistical average. For some, today could be intense or painful, for the |difficult or emotionally stressful third of this week| is today through Monday. (It appears to cover three days---the average is about 2.35---because of the way it happens to fall.) So, those in battle or danger zones need to take care. As for the threat of a U. S. government shutdown, I cannot predict whether it will happen, but even if it doesn't, obviously there is a big mess to straighten out which is not yet finished. The areas of government and of law are plenteously filled in the daily chart.
At a gentler level, some who are under stress will become more sympathetic to others and be kind, even to animals. Others, who are preparing for a journey later or in the summer, will do so in adventurous manful anticipation.
There is the thrill of battle, and the tragedy of it, and these unfortunately intertwine in war. We can only hope that prayer will mingle with battle this weekend and prevent serious disasters. Rumination by commanders and leaders could lead to better strategies with more chances of detentes or peaceful resolution.

Things look quite smooth at least until the moon goes void of course in the night, at 7:25p PT | 10:25p ET | 2:25a(Sa) UT. There is a lot of catching up to do, which you may actually enjoy because it lifts morale. There is a fair amount of pleasure, although tinged with seriousness.
An acquisitive trend is not wrong if you are also aware of how you might use your gains for the benefit of others. There is a panorama of events you can observe in an unattached, peaceful, contemplative mood. Deeper matters can be understood. It is not easy to understand earthquakes, such as the second one afflicting Japan on Thursday (although not seriously it would appear), but astrology can help, as for example Pluto in Capricorn is stationary turning retrograde: Pluto the planet of the "underworld" or what is under the earth's surface, in the cardinal earth sign Capricorn. It has been squared on both sides by planets in the cardinal signs Libra and Aries during the whole earthquake episode since March 11. At that point when the quake hit, it was Jupiter in Aries which formed with Saturn and Pluto the effective T square. You know, if you are a careful reader, that I have harped (and piped) upon the significance of that opposition as a once-every-20-years phenomenon which is life-changing. What are the life-changes you have been going through for the past year? Some are still in process but some will be wrapped up, perhaps, in May. (We ought to give thanks that the changes we are going through are not nearly as disastrous of those experienced by some in Japan or Africa.)
You sense that some are imitating others, or being mildly insincere, even if with serious purposes, that is, the mimic in them wants to get out and be free to improvise. Being what one is not is one way of finding out how to be what one is. You need to recuperate in a variety of ways, either through actual rest at times or doing things in a more relaxed free-form style.
Some individuals may seem suspicious. I do not want to increase paranoia in these reports. What I mean is that you may note, whether correctly or not, suspicious behavior in someone who either tries to influence you or does so in a subtle hypnotic way without intending it. This is something to conjure with or pray about so you may not be hurt or confused by it. This may be more than one person, or even strangers. Maybe just noting it and facing it, pondering it without being upset by it, will clear the air.
If you are around students, they may pose strikingly as figures allied with nature in their youth. So you learn from them how to be relaxed while learning, beautiful while serious. Dancing, sports or play could be invigorating. Spring is springing. A link with the earth, a garden or growing things, is natural and strengthening.

}The Possible is Gradually Doable{
It looks like this might be a quickly written forecast: blunt and brutal.
The moon is void of course as I write on Wednesday, as warned, and the day has been a mess. The person who locked the room where I have to write and post this, where there are two computers, said, when I requested her to open the room for me, "This is a bad day" and she knows nothing of astrology or my reports. Also a neighbor who usually is up and out by 9 a.m. slept until 11. This is the out-of-pattern stuff which happens during Mercury Retrograde, and even more if the moon is also void of course (as it is all day Wednesday).
The room was locked as a punitive measure against people who had been misusing it. So I am here writing this on sufferance (I am not one of those being locked out). Very strange, the first time this has happened, and of course it would be while the moon was void-of-course and Mercury Retrograde. I would guess countless people are going through their peculiar crises Wednesday, mix-ups at work, misunderstandings, traffic congestion, delays of all sorts.
At times one understands why people just "throw in the towel" at these times. They quit their jobs in a fury or walk out on a partner. It has been my contention for years that there are more resignations as well as (tragically) suicides while Mercury is Retrograde. So, although I always recoil when anyone says "Take care"---I much prefer the good-bye of another friend who says "Have fun!"---I must say "Take care" if you are reading this on Wednesday. Thursday should be better, for the moon will no longer be void of course. It goes into Gemini Thursday at 4:23a PT | 7:23a ET | 11:23a UT. So the least I can say, in terms of optimism, is that today, Thursday, should be a relief from Wednesday.
I am racing against the clock to finish this report. I may have to skip lunch to do so.
Well, have you noticed (!) that maybe the government will shut down? Oh, could that be Mercury Retrograde? It is opposed to Saturn the planet of restrictions in Libra sign of law or legislation, and moving closer to that opposition. So we have the two parties (Libra the sign of the balance, two pans of equal or unequal weight) failing to arrive at what they consider justice (Libra) in terms of a tax code and blaming the rest of us for their failure. (Oh, does this mean I don't have to do my taxes?)
It seems a cosmic joke.
I am going to see if I can eat my lunch and re-enter this room to complete the report. (Oh, by the way, I am not in prison, although it may sound like that! We are in the Mercury-Retrograde prison.)
Thursday: There could be more friendliness than recently, and friendship with important people with whom you wish to have good credit or a good reputation. People from varied locations are getting together or conversing. Changes of home or career seem crucial, probably just in the planning stage. You ruminate over them and perhaps defer some conclusions although fumbling toward them.
Strangely enough, with five planets in Aries and small wars (at least in Africa) raging, we don't hear a lot about what is going on in the "front lines" of the conflicts---although in these kinds of wars there are no "front lines," or every-varying ones. It seems that Saturn in Libra, sign of balance, opposing the planets in Aries, sign of war, is somehow preventing either side from winning a decisive victory, and all kinds of compromises, sallies and withdrawals, and negotiations keep things in a state of uncertainty. (I hinted at this when the conduct of the Libya conflict was handed over to NATO on the day Mercury went retrograde.)
Luxuries tempt but may be curtailed, or if indulged, it is at a cost or loss. Gambling may be a proclivity whether indulged or observed. You may note other individuals are separating from the world around them in a prim or spinsterish manner. The two trends are intertwined. Somehow, personal finances seem in good shape no matter what peculiarities color them.
Bravery is also noticeable (second paragraph back) and some feel more ready to attempt daring deeds. There is zeal toward whatever you are attempting in the long term of professional excellence. Then, as a backlash, you may need to rest more than expected, or turn to something simple and inward such as meditation or prayer.
There is more directness of aim than yesterday and so more success in projects or connecting with people. You also are able to focus on boring tasks requiring precision. Aspirations are not pointless although patience is supremely necessary. Let us hope any conflicts you face are mild or resolvable through patient action.

You may be tired of my waling over the Mercury Retrograde period (for 17 more days) and the moon being void-of-course. However, this latter occurrence is much more frequent now than it has been for many months. That is because both Uranus and Neptune have moved from the ends of signs to the beginnings of signs (Uranus to early Aries and Neptune to early Pisces) and also Saturn has retrograded to an earlier portion of Libra. So, the moon goes void of course (defined as not making an aspect to any planet before leaving a sign) earlier in each sign and more often.
You guessed it: the moon is void of course today, all day (until it enters Gemini on Thursday at 4:23a PT | 7:23a ET | 11:23a UT). Of course you can do things, but as I recommend, ordinary things rather than unusual or highly ambitious ones. Shopping is okay, for example, if you buy items with which you are familiar, but if something new and expensive catches your eye, you might be sorry later. Work is good, but if you were to depart radically from your usual procedures you might waste a lot of time and get a headache.
Yet many factors may be proceeding well, both in human relations and business or career, especially if you maintain past momenta rather than try to establish new ones. There is speculation, and perhaps extravagance, yet probably enough common sense to prevent extreme loss. People want privacy but also to be unusually friendly, and the contradiction between these two trends could result in amusing incidents. You could coax someone out of her or his shell, for example, and then find that he or she gets too bold for you. This however could be fun rather than disturbing. You might find that someone with whom you share a special interest, not appreciated by anyone else, is a boon companion no matter how strange this might seem to the world at large.
Attractions between interesting or attractive individuals could be remarkable, but your skepticism comes up to prevent anything getting out of hand. You may be tired of my waling over the Mercury Retrograde period (for 17 more days) and the moon being void-of-course. However, this latter occurrence is much more frequent now than it has been for many months. That is because both Uranus and Neptune have moved from the ends of signs to the beginnings of signs (Uranus to early Aries and Neptune to early Pisces) and also Saturn has retrograded to an earlier portion of Libra. So, the moon goes void of course (defined as not making an aspect to any planet before leaving a sign) earlier in each sign and more often.
You guessed it: the moon is void of course today, all day (until it enters Gemini on Thursday at 4:23a PT | 7:23a ET | 11:23a UT). Of course you can do things, but as I recommend, ordinary things rather than unusual or highly ambitious ones. Shopping is okay, for example, if you buy items with which you are familiar, but if something new and expensive catches your eye, you might be sorry later. Work is good, but if you were to depart radically from your usual procedures you might waste a lot of time and get a headache.
Yet many factors may be proceeding well, both in human relations and business or career, especially if you maintain past momenta rather than try to establish new ones. There is speculation, and perhaps extravagance, yet probably enough common sense to prevent extreme loss. People want privacy but also to be unusually friendly, and the contradiction between these two trends could result in amusing incidents. You could coax someone out of her or his shell, for example, and then find that he or she gets too bold for you. This however could be fun rather than disturbing. Do you agree that today (Tuesday) is smoother than Monday? I am typing this Monday afternoon and find that the void-of-course period has been highly confusing, slowing everything down for me. I waited much too long for a bus. Dawdled over things, which was my own "fault" and yet seemed necessary. Had to rush to do things which should have gone much more quickly. Gave up on attending some events which intrigued me because they would have stopped me from writing this report on time.
We may be somewhat free of that trend today (Tuesday). The moon in Taurus gives solid common sense about most things, and its sextile with Venus is pleasant socially, so you may find people in happy moods.
Nature and human beings fascinate you by their beauty. You sense friendship potentials in most everyone even if you do not choose to actualize them. Someone who is a good reliable person, linked with common things and the earth, is beneficial for you. It is salutary to overcome inhibitions and participate in the dance of life.
Earthy pleasures are good up to a point and then you know how to turn to something connected perhaps with your finances (for me I am afraid it could still be taxes since I lacked information to get them done earlier). You and someone who is a reliable friend may be kind of separated from the rest of the world yet this does not trouble you. Communicating with this individual (before the time given) could be useful.

We live within cycles or spirals, and cannot avoid the low points, but when we understand the process are no longer upset by them. Something you have tried before, failed, and tried again, is still pertinent and you still have more to learn and to demonstrate in connection with it. This is a skill only you know how to implement. It vanishes from sight for a while, but returns even stronger.
Thus you gradually qualify yourself for some exalted position you would be embarrassed to mention to anyone. This is not megalomania, but your particular way of manifesting the Highest---not anyone else's way. Some special friends may understand, even if they say little.

Caution is appropriate on a day when the moon is void-of-course (until it goes from Aries to Taurus at 4:47p PT | 7:47p ET | 11:47P UT) and th sun opposed to Saturn. "What am I doing here, and why?" is the Monday-blues feeling. Things may seem blank. You could "walk through this dream" by doing ordinary necessary things as if in a trance. Diligence in completing boring tasks is sometimes the strength of humanity. After the time given you might feel ready for revitalization and fresh hope.
Pleasure is likely to be transitory and costly, but not as pointless after the time above. You may know you spend too much on escape but find it hard to stop yourself. That's your call. You may be aware of great potentials for gain through career, transactions, or investment. Still you may separate yourself from whatever seems inimical to ideals you share with only one or a few.

It's the last day before the New Moon which arrives Sunday at 7:33a PT | 10:33a ET | 2:33p UT. (As usual there will be no separate Sunday forecast.) Both days of the weekend, as warned, comprise the |emotionally stressful third of this week|. Yet this should help you to eliminate pointless matters from your mind and life, and focus on what is truly important. These times are not as good for social fun as they are for serious effort or study and the like. They are, in my view, the true "Sabbath" days of the week, that is, times when it is better to drop the unessential and focus on the mainline, however you define that.
You might be in a quandary about household matters, or possibly a move or trip planned. This is an opportunity to define what you are doing more clearly and clear away obstacles. The early stages of this seem discouraging but later the light dawns.
People may do stupid things, semi- or completely violent, which you may hear in the news or at worst observe nearby. Fortunately divine grace prevents these from wreaking havoc in most cases. You are seeing that you have survived much, worked out many factors in your life patiently, and so are prepared for rewards even if they seem further off than you would like. For many they will start to come, or be more evident, in May than April.
Is it time for yard or garden work in your area? Probably quite preliminary; but this could be an excellent day for it. I always feel that the month of Aries is the "premature Spring" sign, in other words, spring is springing but not yet sprung. It is sprung in Taurus (late April and May). There are five planets in Aries (called a stellium), including the moon, and Spring is springing, no matter what the weather, so you may be up for springtime activities such as reorganization at home or in the yard or garden. Indeed, the charms of nature could be invigorating. The wee folk or nature-spirits may be awakening from their long slumber.
Human beauty, as that of students or wanderers in nature, is also evident. People want to have some time just to be, passively, and be beautiful, rather than strive.
The Aries emphasis, with Mars also entering the sign today, could be dramatic, in that some (perhaps contrary to the previous paragraph although I said "some time" not all the time) may be trying to be pre-eminent in their own domain or field, ready to take on rivals and triumph over them. At the same time they feel the inner thrill of realizing their potentials and that tempers or mellows their striving. The passionate struggle of life does not feel hard but natural and self-gratifying. It may go on in private spaces, at home, or where you feel protected from a public gaze.
Passionate impulses could be erotic---"in the spring a young man's fancies . . ." ---roiling your emotions unexpectedly. Do I have to be a wet blanket by saying "Be careful"? Sorry, but the warning is necessary because the Aries planets including the moon are opposing Saturn. Who can define what is inappropriate in physical attractions? Something in you knows what is appropriate and what not.
You could drive yourself toward desires and ambitions, practicing skills, with a thrill in the exhibition of your nascent capacities. Then later on you will feel it is time to rest and that indeed would be wise.
