|Karmically serious, sobering, challenging third| of this week is with us until Wednesday
"A large figure 2 comes before my vision," says Charubel, denoting that "he or she will live alone, isolated mentally; not in sympathy with the present state of things." That would accord with the moon's opposition with both Mars and Saturn, marking out the |difficult third| of this week. Being alone much of the time could be appropriate. One might be on "an inhabited island," cut off from many people and thereby enabled to attend to cultivating one's own "plot of land," that is, personal projects.
Those could include "a tree felled and sawed," that is, "the employment of a lesser reality for the development and sustainment of a greater." There is "joy in energy expended and satisfaction in the efficient use of skills and materials." Within immediacy one "mobilizes everything in one's own interest." What opens up then? "The gate to the garden of desire." Despite the |difficult third| there can be "uncompromising faith and naive optimism" in one's prospects. "Personality forever reassures itself by an enhancement of its dreams and a strengthening of its deeper expectations."
At times one might retreat into "a niche in which are set a lamp and a book or missal." Long study and patient vigils go along with devotion to religion, philosophy and the fine arts. Spiritual illumination has many sources and varieties. It can bring about actual changes in the physical body. "A bunny is metamorphosed into a fairy." Such a transition may seem impossible, yet "poetry of soul mirrors each person's ongoing achievements." We can endow ordinary things around us (bunny) with personal, dynamic meanings (fairy). Inner, creative values "mold and remold" our lives and bodies.
