We are in a Bright Hermetic Epoch (to August 29) which favors clear long-term planning and putting plans into effect efficiently. That does not guarantee the emotional quality of the time, although generally people are more upbeat because feeling more in control of their destinies. 

Venus and Jupiter together in Leo continue their heartening, enlivening trine with Uranus, but are now both beginning to square Saturn. Let's not even talk about it! Actually Venus began that square by ten degrees on Saturday. It is interesting that David Sweat was captured by the police during a |difficult third| of this week (Sunday) and also on the second day of the Venus square to Saturn. I take no pleasure in anyone's discomfiture and feel some sympathy for him and what he will face. He got on a wrong track at an early age but does not appear to have been nearly as hardened a killer as Matt was (you will see what I mean if you look up their histories and their horoscopes). What I am pointing out is that everyone's "karma" catches up with them when Saturn is badly aspected, and since both Venus and Jupiter, the benefic planets, are doing that now, we may, even good girls and boys, expect to deal with our own "issues." I don't want to think about it. Let's do poetry instead (based on the symbols for the day):

To justify himself he argues with the world, and the world argues

Back. There is ripe fruit outside his door, and a wife he loves,

But only his cat can catch the mice. At his work he has to watch

Other "mice," subordinates, and worry about their reactions.

He talks too much, some would call it gossip, and loves to report

Peccadilloes. That puts him in a pickle, but the sensuous women and 

Dudes he peeps upon transmit their sybaritic self-indulgence to his

Greedy soul. The priest he confides in asks stricter integrity. 

He has a python round his neck, and raises his hand to prevent

Admirers touching it. The snake sees something fierce in certain

Eyes which his flickering tongue scares away. But he loves, 

If reptiles can, the lady with the magic aromatic wand.
