Mystical love is probably better than human romantic love.
Mars octile (semi-square) Venus is difficulty in human love--attraction, but no way of fulfilling it, apparently. So an arm's-length attraction.
Other complexities of septile aspects suggest destiny working out to lift our careers toward their spiritual summits. That to which we are dedicated pulls us irresistibly.
Mercury now stationary, moving very slowly forward, intensifies clarity of perception and thought; and beauty suffuses all that, through the sextile with Venus, while sorting out what works from what does not is facilitated through Mercury opposite Saturn. The result could be "Now I'm getting it, at last."
The Mercury-Retrograde delays and little annoyances are likely to continue during the rest of the Dark Hermetic Ecpoh (to June 27), as for example yesterday I waited forever for a bus, it seemed, and then it was stuck in a horrendous traffic jam. We can learn to use such times for inner work in one way or another. Remembering G*d is what all the traditions insist upon (rather than fretting).This is easier when we remember that God is Love, and manifests through harmony and peace.
