Moon in Pisces-->Aries
/void-of-course ** /
until it enters Aries at 4:15a PT | 7:15a ET | 11:15a UT ***
Years ago I was telling an astrological friend how horrendous the current Mercury Retrograde period was and she replied, "Just that little planet?" I understood what she meant, and I am thinking now, "That little planet?" because I can't find anything else in the heavens right now to pin my worst woes upon. The general aspects among the planets are better than they have been in weeks, with a lot of sextiles and trines. Yet everything seems virtually at a standstill. Mercury is moving slower every day, toward its "station" or motionless position, exact on Thursday (time will be given tomorrow).
It can be a time for summer fun or relaxation, for those peculiar summer (or late spring) days when everything seems motionless, as if one were languishing in the sun and not caring a fig for anything "the world" expects of one. Wonderful.
Or it can be a time when everything seems distressing because it is "going nowhere" and one is extremely impatient and dissatisfied with the world. Therefore the "suicidal" trend I reported on yesterday.
Fortunately the moon will not be void-of-course today (Wednesday) as it was Tuesday, and in Aries it forms fairly good aspects, so I think most of us will be feeling more chipper even if lazy.
There is some concern with one's career or standing in the world, with the Part of Fortune in 10th position. New plans to make that better can only be pondered or cherished, not put into effect yet, most likely.
I have given up trying to predict the stock market, but as I write the "futures" numbers are positive, so markets may recover somewhat from the doldrums they have been in for quite a while. Or not; I do not believe astrology can predict them. It's too much like roulette. But if I had to toss money on the table I would bet on an upward spin.
The nine-slices-of-pie method I have used for a few days has possibilities. But Mercury is retrograde and I tire of it . . . back to Quatrains!
Snow falls during the labor demonstration, and falls,
And falls, until no one remembers what the protest was
About. A member of the union drops his sign to go home
To his blazing fire, to guard his home and children.
A white horse stands, nobly meditating, while its owner
Chats with a well-clad member of his lodge about other
Quarreling members. His eyes are dark; body well-proportioned.
The force of higher brotherhood may end the stark dissension.
Crossed swords evoke courage and strength, while a gale
Of wind streams toward the east evoking excitement in those
Watching the contest. Afterward all is congenial at the
Party on the houseboat anchored for the fortunate ones.
