Moon in Aries
/moon goes void-of-course at 8:21p PT | 11:21p ET | 3:21a(F) UT
until it enters Taurus at 11:24p PT | 2:24a(F) ET | 6:24a(F) UT
While Mercury is retrograde (May 10-June 3), cats get lost, or run away. Frequently. I have observed this for decades. People can get lost, as someone in my apartment building who for a couple days has been walking up and down the halls as if not sure where to go. And, at worst, the mentally disabled (that is, crazy) can go berserk like the 18-year-old killer in Texas on Tuesday. Looking for parallels between this tragedy and the one in Sandy Hook (December 14, 2012) I find that on both days the moon was conjunct Mars, planet of guns, first in Capricorn the sign of its exaltation and on Tuesday in Aries the sign of its rulership.
While Mercury is retrograde, “the worse can seem the better case” and we need to monitor ourselves more stringently.
Thursday:
A figure in black stands behind the throne
On which a king essays too-dangerous feats.
Above both hovers a celestial choir, singing
Of enduring visions, venerating the Supreme.
A comedian entertaining a group is not afraid of offending.
His mirroring role projects release in laughter.
But a woman with a book and a pair of scales
Says “Wait, be sober; dispassionate judgment must reign.”
In a loose Grecian robe a woman sits smiling, neck
And arms bare, conversing: accessible, gracious.
She reveals a straight, interminable road for
A balanced, long, happy life without trouble.
Politics, comedy, judgment, hovering vision:
Surely the road we long for’s beneath our feet.
