Moon in Taurus—>Gemini
|Karmically serious, sobering, challenging third| of this week continues until 10:30p PT | 1:30a(Tu) ET | 5:30a(Tu) UT (0 in this typeface is not 8 but zero, European style)
/moon goes void-of-course at 3:10a PT | 6:10a ET | 10:10a UT
until it enters Gemini at 3:48a PT | 6:48a ET | 10:48a UT (just a half hour later)
“A lady in fox fur” may be an amoral opportunist, that is, she is flaunting the sad fate of the poor fox, yet seems to be demonstrating tastefulness while being in style. This may be in some respects harmless, but not so the fate of “an anchor unattached to any vessel’s chain, but lying with its hook fast to a rock, the cable broken.” This denotes “terrible trials, over which one will appear to possess little or no control; hence one’s end is very mysterious.” Well, it is not going to be that bad for most of us, but it is wise to seize on reliable factors for safety.
Venus enters Aries today and its first degree is represented by “a strong man standing, dressed in skins or heavy, loose, coarse material—-the shoulders almost bare. In his hand he bears a club. The figure suggests a Hercules.” Some will perform “great acts in which force of character and endurance sustain them rather than goodness of principle or purity of motive.” Yet in this “struggle of life” there can be also large-heartedness and great soul force.
How does one escape the fate of the “lost vessel” in the first paragraph? Perhaps by being like “an old fashioned clock,” with “very exact habits, particular in matters of detail, following rules to the letter. Give him a system and he will follow it.” On such a basis one might “cut a prominent figure as the founder and supporter of some gigantic scheme or organization.” That is like “a tremendous Corinthian pillar with a large amount of earth, buildings and rocky ramparts resting on it, apparently the only support of the massive superstructure.” The one-pointedness of the pillar sustains the magnificence of the scheme. One does not shrink from responsibilities when they entail such glory.
