Mercury remains retrograde until Friday morning
Mercury Retrograde watch: I know we are all weary of it, but it’s still there. On Sunday I could not use Spotify and for the first time ever got a message “re-install from Windows Store.” This did not take long but was very odd and at first upsetting. RE-install! Could Mercury be retrograde? Then likewise on the same day Facebook said “not compatible with your browser”! The same browser I have been using for two decades. I had to RE-certify that as well. Two first-time RE-nonsense things on the same day, which was also a |difficult third| day. As you can see we are out of that today so I hope Monday will be a better holi-day than Saturday and Sunday. Further, my weekend was marred by the illness of a friend whom I did healing work for and hope she is recovering.
Monday, Memorial Day: The “dark cloud passing over part of the earth, charged with elemental shapes, hideous and repulsive” sounds like what I watched Saturday on Netflix, Stranger Things, the new Season 4. Yes, repulsive, and I asked myself frequently “Why am I watching this?” Probably because it seems sometimes to have coded spiritual messages, such as the dependence of our world on our thinking, but it also has decidedly anti-Christian propaganda not carefully concealed, presenting all the Christians in it as narrow-minded bigots. Why, Duffer Brothers? I could introduce you to a lot of Christians who contradict your incendiary portrayal. So today one could meet with such ugliness, but also there is “a man covered with decorations and ornaments of the most gorgeous kinds.” “He or she will be vain as a peacock.” “He appears to enjoy himself amazingly, with self-admiration, in the midst of a garden abounding with fruit trees, flowers, and fountains.” Well we might have a happy holiday at last. Let’s remember the military heroes, departed and alive, in the midst of the festivity and send some of our happiness to them.
It’s not a business day, but one might still think of ways to protect oneself from any devious financial matters, while at the same time having a heart full of soulful energy and confidence. “A woman is gathering grapes, with which she fills many baskets.” A mature attitude, plus normal acquisitiveness, could meet with success, or we could be enjoying the riches we have acquired by spending some of them in a way that brings pleasure.
“A monster plant of the gourd tribe arises spontaneously from beneath the soil; growth is taking place before my vision” exults Charubel. If you do gardening this might be literal, or you may find a cherished project growing rapidly as if propelled by a magic power. “A triangle with wings” likewise flies ahead of itself, as it were, and this is zeal, and creative transformation. What you sense as a real vision ahead of you encourages tangible self-fulfillment.
