Moon in Leo
|Karmically serious, sobering, challenging third| of this week continues (until Tuesday early afternoon)
“A man surrounded by others seeking a quarrel” seems to imply that the “others” are wanting the quarrel, yet Sepharial interprets this as if the man himself is “quick to anger, stirring up strife around him.” Maybe it is hard to tell from which direction the originating rashness comes. Maybe they are gathered outside “a jewelry shop” which reminds them of their relative poverty or their desire for more. They need to realize that the world’s economy preserves for them whatever they can honestly attain. Such luxury “mirrors any marked achievement in character or skills.”
The next pair of symbols are the same as yesterday’s: “A person of good proportions; fine dark eyes with arched eyebrows” is “an all-round person” who “would make a good detective” through exact observation of men and things. He might be “proud and a little selfish.” But someone who is more humble could be like the boy of Hawthorne’s tale The Great Stone Face who, unbeknownst to himself, grows into the beautiful image of the face carved on the mountain of his town, because he has looked at it and admired it so much.
Mercury sextile Venus, plus Jupiter sextile Pluto, could add to “a gigantic tent” representative of the circus. “The totality of life is brought to some single center in every moment of true excitement or total sharing of skills and risks.” Things around us are apportioned well when we “see experience both steadily and whole.” Then Luna squaring the Uranus-sun conjunction could bring “a newly formed continent.” At worst this could be turmoil and upset. Better, it is “a constant reworking of all reality through the course of successive over-all cycles.” We need not be afraid of our originality, for through it we could “remodel the entire face of the universe.”
Happy Mother's Day to all who are mothers!
