^Discovery and Happy Choice Open the Golden Gate^

Challenge:  Mars square Neptune is a 'carry on' aspect, vigilant to overcome defeat and inertia in a spiritually militant or militantly spiritual manner.  However, 'a man standing on a lonely plain weeping' is too likely to give up in these final days of an Old Moon when energy and vim seem to decline.  He needs moral courage.  Also he needs more decisiveness, direction and stability, so that he does not resemble 'a man tottering and uncertain, carrying water which he spills on the ground.'  Judgment can be firmed up by deciding what one is 'going for.'  

Process:  Nice Venus aspects, including her exact sextile with Jupiter, make for entertainment.  There could be 'a place of amusement, with music, dancing, and singing on the program in a very large ballroom.'  It doesn't matter if some of this is amateurish; it's the spirit that counts.  Luna with Mercury in Aries (Einstein was born with Mercury in that sign) could make for special insight in some area.   Charubel says that with this degree prominent one 'will make a discovery; a new idea will dawn on the world through one's agency.'  

Blessing:  If we are lucky enough to be free of large responsibilities for a time, we might be able to open 'the gate to the garden of desire.'  There is 'uncompromising faith' in prospects which lie ahead.  Dreams are enhanced and expectations deepened, so that small attempts lead to large fulfillments in that technicolored 'garden.'  'A man' is 'equipped with more gifts than he can hold.'  We are equipped for prodigal efforts or generous pleasures, so we feel independently able to 'attempt all things' wherever our 'large spread of interest' may lead.
