Moon in Capricorn
It's Easter, which to pagans means a celebration of Spring, to Christians a celebration of Jesus's resurrection. For variety I shall depart from the usual daily format and write about the day's positions in a little more free-form manner.
Sol: We have a farmer who is doing well, 'bringing in the sheaves' though it be Spring, and brownies dancing in the setting sun to suggest some consummation of hope in the invigorating dance of life. There is a youthful student wandering in the glades, sunlight falling upon his figure through the leaves. These images suggest the great outdoors. Let's hope the weather will support some such adventure.
Mars: A dejected woman covering her naked breast with her hair has experienced great sorrow, and feels that she is in an empty space where nothing of value is likely to happen. She might turn to a large archaic volume, perhaps the Bible or some other sacred text, to find hope and a new beginning on this day of longed-for rebirth.
Venus: On a battlefield, two contending armies are in deadly conflict. Mars square Neptune requires often a 'spiritual battle' or a decision to stay on the side of what is right when this requires vigilance, valor, and sacrifice. An empty hammock is beckoning for someone to fill it, so that he or she could ponder, meditate, ruminate, thereby preparing him or her for whatever is needed in an active life-campaign. But life is not all fretting and battling. Living out the now-exact sextile between Mars and Venus, 'a man and woman stand hand in hand, looking with affection toward each other.' Amiability, and a pleasant disposition, make one 'beloved of one's kinsmen' and bring about 'success through the intervention of some female friend.'
