|Karmically serious, sobering, challenging third| of this week continues until mid-day Wednesday
Challenge: Mars square Neptune can be a sense of dislocation because one is striving to understand and live up to one's ideals and this is not easy given the complexities and confusions of human living. 'A battle-field and deadly conflict' could be the 'battlefield' of politics or other areas of disagreement. We are lucky not to be engaged in actual warfare, but some victims of Communist Chinese persecution are not so lucky. 'A traveler struggling on in a storm, lost in the darkness' is said by Charubel to have hope for the coming day when the climate will be more favorable.
Process: Keeping up with duties is harder when one feels there is unfairness in recompense for the duties, and so there is 'a labor demonstration.' There needs to be a conscious effort to see that right and justice prevail. One represents others as well as oneself in a process of social stewardship. The demonstrators are not lazy, but any might welcome 'an empty hammock' in which to ruminate. In such restfulness there is 'maximum potential for inner reorientation and outer readjustment,' a realization of non-compulsion which removes the fraught tension of any labor predicament. There is 'inner reconciliation of outer inharmonies.'
Blessing: In spite of the |difficult third|, 'a strong and prosperous-looking man stands with arms extended forward, holding in his hands a bowl full of wine.' He is generous and hospitable, yet with a sense of his own merits, desiring recognition. That is not withheld from him, because all recognize that he is steadfast and sincere. The sun and Venus are together, both sextile Mars. 'A man and woman stand hand in hand, looking with affection toward each other.' There can be amity and peace.
