This is Good Friday in the Christian tradition, the day Jesus was crucified. One balks at calling it 'good' but such is the tradition. Maybe that is a call to ourselves to be 'good' in honor of the Savior. I do not assert my Christian views here frequently but would be untrue to myself if I did not honor Jesus the Christ in whom I believe. It is a solemn day for believers, or a day for deep thought, repentance, and steadfast hope in the coming resurrection.
The following report is written apart from those considerations, for life does go on at ordinary as well as spiritual levels.
Challenge: One aims one's arrows toward one's goals and this can be effective, even startling and impressive; one either hits the mark or comes very close. One feels one has an obligation to assert certain truths which others will not credit, perhaps. One might think of travel to a countrified area, or link with someone in such a place. Farming, husbandry or agriculture could come into view in a good way. 'A man has a sheaf of corn under one arm, a sickle under the other.' One reaps what one has sown.
Process: Mercury square Mars is mental activity, probably of an unusual nature because Mercury is in Pisces with Neptune. This could be both energizing and restful, as if one were 'a youth, book in hand, wandering through a glade. The sunlight slanting through the trees falls upon the figure of the student.' The keyphrase is Passive Beauty. 'A serpent coiling near a man and a woman' is the serpent of universal wisdom. The positive Venus-Mars sextile is very close. The phallic or erotic side of the image could be 'a surrender to lower or transient impulses' and so negative, or it could be sublimated to 'higher appreciation and greater self-dedication.'
Blessing: Charubel speaks of 'a rising sun in a very prominent position' indicating 'a true solar man or woman, destined to rule or command.' This fits the sun's excellent sextile aspects to Saturn on one side and Mars on the other. One can sense who one is and what one's prerogatives are. Then there could be the invigoration of 'brownies dancing in the setting sun.' Simple good fortune and unending opportunity weave through all the vitalizing steps of the dance of life.
