The Mercury Retrograde period does not seem to me quite as trying as usual, at this point, because Mercury is sextile Jupiter by two degrees, always a positive influence since these two are important to each other (Hermes the messenger or spokesman for Zeus). This can be good for business as well as effective communication and positive thinking. Still, there can be slowness, uncertainty, and time-consuming mistakes or delays. There can be confusion, depression and uncertainty because Mercury is moving backward to a square with Neptune which in fact will continue throughout the DHE to the end of June. Those struggling with alcohol or drugs have their work cut out for them. We need to tune in to the higher vibrations of Neptune, not dependent on material substances but on spiritual substances or vibrations. They are conveyed by Scripture and by deeply real spiritual writings and teachings such as those of Sri Aurobindo. Those, as a backdrop for prayer and meditation, get me "high" and higher than any chemical-dependent state. What medical researchers don't understand is that our invisible bodies known to occultists--vital, astral, mental--control the chemistry of the visible material body. As long as they deliberately ignore that fact well-known to those who know, they will be wandering in the dark, doing endless studies of how chemistry controls the body, not knowing how the Spirit controls the chemistry. Such deep opportunity-destroying darkness!
The oil rigs are pumping away, the speculators lining
Their pockets, the fracking whacking the world into

The crucifix in the church broadcasts its dire message of repentance
While the splintered barren oak in the moorland mourns its lost
Youth. The man standing in the plain has given up to despondency,
Weeping, looking for help toward the oak and church, sobbing.
A gigantic man plays with a doll while above him three
Fledglings chirp in their nest, very sweetly elevated.
Spring flowers gathered into a bunch smile at the scene,
Above them Venus star of eve sparkling and dancing.
