I almost gave this day four stars, but the exact opposition of the sun with Saturn is a little hard to deal with, as if you would be pondering difficult issues or worries even while the holiday weekend is beginning. Nevertheless I hope you have a happy day and evening.

Here is a revision of the weekly forecast for the week ending today. Although there's only one more day in play, I hope you will find something interesting and useful here to reflect upon in connection with the past six days and today (Friday). I revised and edited toward what seems more in accord with what I myself, and others to my observation, actually experienced:

You have more than you need, in some sense, a lot of material to work with. The problem is using this equipment wisely rather than getting scattered. You could make discoveries and attain honors. You may doubt this. With Mercury retrograde you could drag your feet. Perhaps some of that is necessary while you consolidate gains and discoveries.

The hard work of structuring something can be mental, physical or both. You can do it at home or at headquarters, while thinking of and in communication with those at a distance. The newness of it is hard at first, yet a certain luxury surrounding it makes it enjoyable to work on. To bring out your strength, there are heavy responsibilities, but the harmony you evoke while fulfilling them can be a marvel.

Mercury turns retrograde Monday (until June 11). Your abilities are not diminished, but you may turn them to relatively pointless interests or pseudo-projects which end nowhere and merely pass the time for a while (Mercury square Neptune and quincunx Pluto). Artistry, however, could flourish. One cannot eat a musical performance, or get shelter and warmth from a novel, yet they have value in expanding or liberating consciousness. Mercury's sextile with Jupiter shows that it is possible to gain, even materially, if one is careful. There is a desire to grab pleasures from anywhere, but modified by a concern for health. You may want to cut back on eating or drinking but find yourself drawn toward more rather than less. At best you could turn all this desire into accomplishment through an art or craft.

The secure foundation of your life varies and shifts with movement, travel, and connections. Yet it remains basically auspicious. The homes of friends, or friends visiting you, are fortunate. Some of them may seem conventional in tastes, ordinary or boring even if attractive, yet you have something to learn from them and they from you. There is magic in public display of pageantry, no matter how unplanned or informal. This can happen over and over without planning. You may be demonstrating to the world that there are angels they don't see.

You might be close to someone who has a lawyer-like or detective-like mentality, eager to see the errors or crimes people commit and expose them. (That ought to include the errors and crimes of prosecutors who prosecute the innocent and get them imprisoned--a great many, as demonstrated by the success of The Innocence Project). This someone, perhaps a woman, appreciates the good people but wants to protect them from the malignant ones. She (or he) can win cases in surprising ways. Or, this configuration could come out as a critical, suspicious and negative spirit in some who never want things to be simple and harmonious. Then again, as the direct opposite of this, there are others, usually women, children or childlike adults, who appreciate all the beauty and goodness in life and open our hearts to it without planning. Let's cherish and protect them--and learn from them.

The practicality of the week is solid, although a little backward-looking of necessity (Mercury retrograde). You may need to come to terms with the person or the counsel of someone taciturn and serious who sees life as a chess game or a project to be worked out with clear thinking and careful design. He or she might have an appreciation of fine arts and may be a craftsman or designer, or sketch out plans in an intriguing manner. You may be slow in seeing the value of what she or he is doing, but then benefit a great deal. This could be someone casually met, or someone you read about or whose works you study. A woman who has strong sympathies is good for you no matter how difficult it may be to communicate with her for various reasons. Her viewpoint and yours are not the same, yet you can benefit each other. She may even seem to you a goddess of mercy. 

Attention to detail is helpful in many ways. It can prevent the snags which occur when Mercury is going backward (to our geocentric vision). You may feel pride in yourself, and that is not wrong if you realize you owe everything to the Supreme One. Spending time in public parks or  recreational areas could be helpful, loosening worries and helping to regenerate your internal reality. The essence of yourself, however, remains unseen and unknown to the public. Your inner world is your own. You know this and do not care a great deal if others don't understand. So you can be detached in each encounter, not worrying if you remain mysterious or under-appreciated. Your grandeur is known Above if not below.
