*Toward Calm Confidence*

The |emotionally strained third of the week| is with us until Thursday afternoon. Today it gets somewhat better in late afternoon and evening, when the moon moves toward a trine with the sun (Aries to Sagittarius).

You may feel generous by then, and happy to be held in respect by those who appreciate your generous and confident attitude. You have been exerting yourself admirably and deserve rewards. It might be good to think of someone from your past, such as father, grandfather, or male relative (perhaps female but I suggest male because of the moon's position in Aries). Then he or she will join your pastimes, invisibly.

There is a trend toward the beautiful, a recognition that beauty in the home, office or headquarters has an ameliorating influence in countless ways. It helps you order your life because you feel better about ordinary things you have to move around every day. Holiday lighting casts holiness from within, even when seemingly secular in origin. Studying uplifting teachings by a vestal light of the spirit could be a peak of the day.

Military tendencies are the bane of our world yet survive until their time has been fulfilled, that is, until the karma of those who find it necessary to fight has been worn through, frazzled and snapped. Sooner rather than later, let us hope, and then the words of the spiritual, "Ain't gonna study war no more," will come true. There is respite from career matters which are not panning out and need to be dropped. This is loss only of impedimenta. Your reserve forces are potent and can turn up when you need them to push you past a slack point toward honor.

The life of a wanderer might appeal to you at certain moments, yet you return to home center. There, or anywhere, you find clues, the cosmos speaking to you through signals of opportunity right at hand, the bluebird on the doorstep. Peculiar happenings which spell loss or disillusionment are only signals to keep your faith strong so you can resist undercurrents of despair and see your way past tangles to a more secure foundation.

Overly complicated strategies may appeal to you until you realize they can be simplified. There is supremacy in hidden sources of knowledge which avail when you are peacefully focused. It is important to modify overly self-centered tendencies which might lead you to despise the world out of envy or jealousy, for there could be no end but endless despair to such a path. Knowledge you have is superior to some others'. You can use that wisely rather than bash people out of an assumed sense of superiority.

Much points to hidden knowledge discovered. Wherever you look you may find it. It makes your life easier. There is a fraternal basis for some of your hopes, that is, you gain and learn from those you may as well call brothers or sisters because otherwise you might be displaying ingratitude or unawareness of your dependencies. You could enjoy those who play roles, consciously or unconsciously, the world being a stage. By evening let us hope the tragedy will be off and the comedy on.
