Forecast for Tuesday 21 December 2010

Tuesday 21 December 2010

~Dark Day of Dark Epoch: Stalemate, Poise, Nonchalance~

It's the solstice day; the sun enters Capricorn at 3:40p PT | 6:40p ET | 11:40p UT. Darkest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.

The good part of it is that balance begins to return; we do not fall into the abyss though we skirt it. Maybe that is why Capricorn people can be so frisky and cheerful (even if their humor has a dark side).

You can use detective powers to study people or figure out what they are up to. You are curious in a harmless way. Your inclinations may be more definite in the evening hours when you gravitate toward whatever or whomever pleases you. Contentment is a wonderful blessing coming to you unexpectedly.

You have gigantic ambitions to understand things. You take the whole world for your field of study. You want to represent something worthy at an international level. Someone you like may be traveling: actor-like, friendly, deeper than appears on the surface.

Those who get agitated over politics or conspiracy theories sometimes appear pitiable. More likely than not if they refrained from getting upset and protesting, things would work out the same as they do after their agitation and upset. They are lacking in the finesse that can see both or all sides of given issues or developments. The excitement of the frenzied debate and argument is what they want, not the justice they claim they represent. No matter what happens they will continue to be frenzied. It is well to be worldly-wise about politics, so as to be secure and safe from harm, rather than to be a partisan in any extreme manner.

A lot of talk, communication or writing could try to settle into poise and security, represented by nonchalance. When people feel they have made it along some line, they become inflexible about certain matters because the position they have assumed in relation to them has already made them successful. So why worry or change? Alternations have more to do with the dualities of sex or sexual proclivities or male-female stereotypes. The youthful or foolish seem unaware of such stereotypes although living them guilelessly.

When people give up they can fall into a party mood. Yet they don't want to give up because, today, they are ambitious. They are evaluating everything like a gambler his bets. What is going to pay; what deal will work out? There are so many possibilities, virtually illimitable, but I must choose something. Don't want to choose. So I will shoot at whatever comes up first. However, I have responsibilities to my boss, country, ruler, family; must keep certain things secret so as to protect them. So I am not sure what to do. Yet action is forced upon me.

There is a fair amount of luck in all that, although we are technically in the |more difficult or stressful third of this week| today and tomorrow. If you pass a church, synagogue or mosque you might contemplate its proportioned beauty as a symbol of human aspiration toward something always-better. Another side of you wants to take that trust in the trustworthy as a basis for naive play or easy-going flirtation with the world's attractions. That is fun up to the point where you are stung on a sensitive spot by the bees swarming around sweets and realize you need to pull back.

The Mercury-retrograde cycle up to the 31st is not always fun or easy, partly because of circumambient and internal uncertainties. I tried to dramatize some of that in the preceding paragraphs, in accord with the specific aspects and positions of the day, and that is why they seem confusing or contradictory. We are in a confusing and contradictory time, so a forecast which is confusing may be more helpful than one which is incorrectly straightforward. It allows you to find your own way among dips and curves.
