~Patient Activity at Headquarters~

Because we are in the Mercury Retrograde period, which is the center of the Dark Hermetic Epoch lasting until January 17 (the retrograde period ends on December 30), you may be feeling you are at a "cycle change" in your life. Are you reviewing the past, or certain aspects of it, and wondering what is next? Are you pondering the purpose and direction of your life? That is all to the good. The problems come when one tries to make precipitate or drastic changes during the retrograde cycle. It is better to ponder carefully, learn what you can, and go very slow with actual changes, which are usually premature even if wise. (I would recommend reading this paragraph a few times, letting it sink in, and reviewing it when needed during this month of December and early January.)

When changes are imposed from the outside, the situation is different, and you can adjust to them as best you can, not letting yourself get too far ahead of the curve. However, most changes today are likely to be benedictions. You are linked with the invisible perhaps more than you realize. You become more of yourself by working with good influences.

Hospitality is wonderful and you may want to share your home with someone no matter what your doubts about his or her temperament or habits may be. This may involve also getting things in order in your living quarters, in an aggressive way. Then you feel you can relax there and appreciate mental pursuits or the calm expression of abundant abilities. Phases of your life dovetail, so that when you let go of some things, others grow up in their place.

Force within you emanates from you and wins honors, although these be slow to come. You may be pondering a change of home, either temporary or permanent. Paragraph 1 again: probably not now, although it helps you to wonder and consider how such a change might go. A tantrum or scuffle might be brewing, if you let it, just because you feel impatient. Mental work seems important today.

Sometimes it is better to conform smoothly with social codes or rules which seem silly to you, for the sake of peace and harmony. Then you can put your attention on work in seclusion which is very important now. You want popularity, and that is normal, but can get it better through normal living in accord with your purposes than through finagled self-display.

A warmhearted approach to visitors or living companions is wonderful. You may feel they take advantage of you sometimes but still want to benefit them. You mobilize your powers in your living situation, to make it more amenable to your purposes and desires. Then you don't mind being alone, either, if that is conducive to the training or creativity of your intellect.

As for more objective choices and deals or transactions, it would be good to finish them before the moon conjoins Jupiter at 12:16p PT | 3:16p ET | 8:16p UT. After that there are greater potentials of mistakes or impatient questionable choices. However, after that you could go deeper into your internal processes perhaps through prayer, meditation or the like.

Wealth changes hands according to patterns of karma. You may feel you are orphaned, lacking parental support or direction, or, in the Retrograde period, going back in memory to what your parents taught (even if you did not appreciate it at the time). You can fend for yourself, but the invisible help of parents and others is there also. You have been working out your finances and your mode of gaining or using them. Those who work to support some facets of their society are supported in turn. What you have earned and what you deserve is coming to you. Seeing that gives you wider hope.
