Message for Thursday 11 July 2024
\Deep, Light, or Both/
A new long-range factor has entered the planetary picture since July 6. It's the square between the slow-moving planets Jupiter and Saturn, lasting until August 2025. This is karmic. It has to do with ethics. Are we living up to our ethical standards? Prime Minister Viktor Orban of Hungary is trying valiantly to bring the European nations, Ukraine, the U. S. and Russia into real peace negotiations. I believe he is a major activator of this important ethical-karmic-spiritual square. It requires a deep sense of responsibility which may involve giving up the lesser for the greater. It is going on in U. S. internal politics as well.
In personal life it can come out as: "Am I living up to my highest standard? What can I do to please my soul, and God, to make me worthy of eternal life?" This goes deep, and affects minor matters as moodiness stemming from that soul-quest.
A lighter, sweeter aspect, with us since June 9, lasts another week through the 17th: Venus and Mars in a sextile aspect. The individuals and groups you have been connecting with for the past month are good for you in many ways, whether this be romantic or friendly.
The symbols for Thursday are partly very "commanding," as "A mounted Indian with scalp locks" and "A king, emperor or commander on horseback." "A lion on an elevation looking toward the rising sun" has the keyword Dignity. More comfortably, we have "A profile of the head and face of a man. His face is long and oval; the eyes large and somewhat expressionless; he is clean-shaven save for a carefully cultivate mustache." Charubel says he is "the ordinary man of the day; fond of pleasure, entering into the fashionable amusements of the age heartily. A stickler for the conventional and the popular."
