Challenge: The sun and Mars are getting closer and closer together (in Libra) and now are quincunx (troubling aspect) Uranus. "A plumed warrior is haranguing a multitude of armed soldiers." Apart from actual military affairs, this is "a persuasive tongue and brave spirit, one who leads others by authority vested in reason and sustained by able expression. From such an one an appeal is equivalent to a command." Some political activists, or religio-spiritual lecturers, have such skill. A less formidable individual is "a centaur--half man, half horse--armed with bow and arrow." He is subtle and changeful, either horse (debasing instinct) or man (high endeavor). The lack of a father could be an issue in his life.
Process: "A military band on the march" is intrepid, avoiding drabness and blaring self-affirmation. There can be self-mobilized effort which is in harmony with one's clan and one's world. By joining the "band" one avoids being "a pillar of black marble roughly hewn," that is, a solitary figure who is peculiar and misanthropic, making a bad match, centering affections on a disappointing object.
Blessing: Charubel gives three asterisks, * * *, to a degree pointing to "one destined to take an active part in public life, exercising a great influence on mankind." Perhaps we have met him in the first paragraph, or choose to embody his or her qualities. Or if we are in a less serious mood we can be "children blowing soap bubbles." The beautiful and the good appear even in bubbles. Simplicity of character incites the enchantment of transcendental magic.
