Challenge: The sun and Mars still quincunx (uncomfortable) Uranus could indicate "a tiger crouching, ready for a spring on its prey," which at worst would be revenge, treachery or cruelty. Or at best it could be wise alertness to self-interest, or even just playing a game where one has to assert oneself to try to win. If one loses in some crucial area one might be like "a man with his arm in a sling and his head bandaged." This could be a warning against accidents, which in fact seem more prevalent during Mercury Retrograde phases (this one lasts until October 18). Or it might be as harmless as losing a game. (If the stakes are larger than that in your case, the warning has been given.)
Process: Luna forming a sextile with Venus and trine with Pluto could resemble "a fair woman looking at her face in a handglass," that is, frivolity, lightheartedness, and self-centeredness. "I think I'll take a selfie." Sometimes it is healthy to laugh in the face of fate and flaunt one's colors. At a much more serious level we have "A rocky eminence out of which is carved a cross in stone standing against the rising sun, haloed in divine light." This is austerity, reclusiveness, and a superior faculty for spiritual or religious studies--seemingly the opposite of the lady with the mirror, yet in a Mercury Retrograde period contradictory tendencies appear together.
Blessing: "Children blowing soap bubbles" find the beautiful and the good in what appear to be childish things, but their simplicity of character could invoke a transcendental magic of being. Each of us finds his or her enchantments in his or her own way, pipedreams or not. "The king of the fairies approaching his domain" is a hint that we could exercise sovereignty over the potentials of outer reality through the creative realms of our imagination. In other words, we could be bold in believing people will be happy to grant allegiance to ourselves and our hopes, thus taking charge of our "kingdom."
