I almost hesitate to report that Mercury turns direct early this morning, because people then assume that the "hard times" of the MR period are over. No! Unfortunately, Cosmic Piper discovered in 1978-79 that the slowness of Mercury, whether going forward or backward, is just as difficult as its retrogradation. All this is of course from geocentric perspective; Mercury does not "go backward" in relation to the sun which is the center of its orbit (as that luminary is for all the planets in our system). But the apparent motions of Mercury are of supreme importance to human beings, not because of some theory (I never read one or devised one) but because of careful observation over several decades. I trust my own conclusions when they have been verified so consistently.
So we have, this time around (2018):
Dark (slow) Hermetic Epoch began March 9-->[Mercury went retrograde March 22-->Direct again on April 15]-->Dark Hermetic Epoch continues until May 3-->]Bright (fast) Hermetic Epoch lasts from May 3 through July 6[
If people just knew about the above schedule and put it on their calendars and remembered it every day, what a less confusing world we would have!
Here again is what I posted twice already but bears repeating:
For those suffering various problems, some quite intense perhaps, I will make one general observation: Things ought to be better, in your individual situation, by Sunday the 15th and the week following that. At least, by then you will see your way more clearly, and know what to do, whether the problem be in health, business, work, or relationships. Right now, the problems center in Mercury retrograde while closely square to Saturn, plus other minor aspects (sun biseptile Saturn, Mars biseptile Uranus, and others) which become major when nearly exact, as now. At least these things ease on the 15th, and we have as well on that day a New Moon (by evening).
It is true that Venus is trine Mars, just about exactly now. That helps, in terms of interpersonal relations especially. Because I have been ill and not fit to get out and about, I have not noticed this much in terms of friendships but I have noticed it internally--beautiful memories, images, and dreams of good people I have been with in the past, present, and sometimes only in some other dimension. Giving thanks for people--friends, strangers, everyone who has not deliberately hurt us, and maybe even for some of those if we can "get over it"--is a strong therapy. It has helped me get well.
Some of that happy prediction may not come true until either very late Sunday or Monday when there will be better lunar aspects.

Let's hope the raven will be playful rather than malicious. Mischief as play, not mischief as hurting; only mock hurting. The three planets in Capricorn, the rocky sign, could be the cataract bouncing down the hill. Such compulsions could help or hurt depending on our awareness. The rest of the symbols are pretty positive, in fact exhilarating, so we can defeat the |difficult third| and the Old Moon when things sometimes seem hopeless or pointless.

The symbols and their interpretation are intended to apply basically during the hours from dawn to midnight. Often a planet will move from one degree to another during the day, so I use a time near mid-afternoon for all of them, so that they shall be exactly right during most, often all, of the daylight hours. The period from midnight to dawn could partake of the nature of either day or both.
