}Work Plus Play Melee{

Moon in Gemini
|Karmically difficult third| of this week begins at 6:14p PT | 9:14p ET | 1:14a(F) UT (until Sunday morning)

I was never a fan of Barbara Bush. What did I hold against her? Only the murderous, hideous actions of her son George W. who was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands in an invasion which was directed against the wrong people at the wrong time and forced something like 2 or 3 million Christians, among the same or greater number of Muslims, if they were not killed, to become refugees.

However, her passing on Tuesday evening was reflected, it seems, in the following symbol, posted here as one of the seven for Tuesday:

A fair woman, richly attired, stands alone.  A rich and beneficent nature. By goodness of heart attracts friends and gains attention. Success through a woman. Love of luxury and praise, but generous and gifted.  Favor.  b

I did not perceive her that way. The cosmos is more charitable than I. Or, it was merely reflecting what in fact millions of people may have felt about her when they heard the news.

Thursday:

A coal pit, the machinery at a standstill, the whole of the plant in a dilapidated condition.   Mining operations. Possible accidents.  Perhaps bankruptcy for the owner.   c

A man wheeling a barrow of earth over a hollow run.   Downright hard labor. Hard.   c

A lion rampant, standing upon an elevated ground.   Powerful and haughty. Makes many his servants but few his friends.   Pride.   b

A horseman, armed as if for battle, is watching the waning moon.   Independent and domineering nature, forsaken by friends and colleagues on that account. Hurt by a female. Serving himself alone, he does not receive assistance. "The dog and his bone are best left alone."   Isolation.   b

A child of about five with a huge shopping bag.  Expectation.   s

A man in the midst of a lot of children at play.   Simplicity of manner. Fond of children and childish amusements.   c

A large well-kept public park.   Recreation.   s

We run the gamut from hard labor to playful recreation.  The first symbol may be a hint to the President that his hopes of reviving the coal industry may come to naught. Then the hard labor is something we all face in one way or another, at times. The lion and the horseman have in common their pride and independence, perhaps isolation, yet also self-respect.

Then we may be invited to play with or as children, which would be welcome considering what we just went through!  I can get a handle on these symbols through realizing that the three planets in Capricorn are the hard work, and the moon in Gemini is the playfulness, sustained by Venus's trine with Pluto.  The "park" may be a place where you can unwind a little.

Cosmic Piper

P. S.  The first few paragraphs of yesterday's (Wednesday's) report may be worth reading or re-reading for perspective on the next two weeks.

b: Signor Borelli, 19th century clairvoyant; interpreted by Sepharial who was Walter Gorn Old
c: Charubel, 19th century clairvoyant who was John Thomas
s: Sabian symbols which came through psychic Elsie Wheeler, interpreted by Marc Edmund Jones

The symbols and their interpretation are intended to apply basically during the hours from dawn to midnight. Often a planet will move from one degree to another during the day, so I use a time near mid-afternoon for all of them, so that they shall be exactly right during most, often all, of the daylight hours. The period from midnight to dawn could partake of the nature of either day or both.
