We have to keep an eye on Mercury's aspects while it is retrograde. Now they are squares to both Mars and Saturn, very close, within one degree. This can be hard in the sense that it is probably backtracking, researching, revising, even repenting, trying to improve one's character or "game." One sees one's failures and does not want to repeat them, so one wants to be "tough on oneself" not through self-cruelty but self-awareness and self-improvement. I believe we are all doing that in a big way, one way or another.
A happier aspect is Venus trine both Saturn and Mars, getting stronger by the day (exact with Mars in a week, the 10th-11th). This should be good for love life and friendship, of course. The tangles of Mercury R will not always be unpleasant tangles in that area.

The first two forboding symbols are repeated from yesterday. If we got through that we can get through this! It seems a reflection of what was said in paragraph one above.
We go from the illimitable group of indistinguishable pheasants to the selection of a horse or car or candidate, in other words, narrowing down possibilities through wise choice. The final two symbols suggest deeper awareness, facilitated often while Mercury is retrograde (it's not all bad), leading to good, useful, happy connections, maybe the "bridge over troubled waters."

The symbols and their interpretation are intended to apply basically during the hours from dawn to midnight. Often a planet will move from one degree to another during the day, so I use a time near mid-afternoon for all of them, so that they shall be exactly right during most, often all, of the daylight hours. The period from midnight to dawn could partake of the nature of either day or both.
