Message for Weekend of May 6-7, 2023

^Resolute^

Guys, I throw my hands up. I am exhausted by Mercury Retrograde. (April 21 - May 16). Why?

1 Too many technological things going wrong. Pages loading five or ten times slower than they should. Getting lost in surfing the internet, and on and on. Also: I neglected to give in Friday's report the time of the Full Moon of Taurus-Scorpio, 10:35a PT | 1:35p ET | 5:35p UT (Friday May 4)

2 A whining noise in my neighborhood from a boiler which started up again yesterday and is going on right now, it is the "whistling boiler" and I have informed the landlord but don't expect action on it this weekend. I turn on a fan for white noise and use earplugs if needed.

3 I tell you, as I have before, never think that you are "losing it" during the MR periods because Mercury wants you to believe that, or demons released during those times want you to lose heart and go nuts. Yes, maybe real demons, or as a friend suggested today maybe "spirits" of the dead. Or something else; you explain it.

4 If you've been following the news at all you've heard of air strikes against the Kremlin and others against Kiev, nobody knowing who is responsible for them but there are plenty of theories. Does anybody know what is going on? The best comfort I can give you is, it could be a lot worse, as in a nuclear war.

5 So give thanks for your (we hope) safety.

6 The case of the young man who died in a subway while someone was trying to prevent him from hurting anyone is sad but typical of how people can go haywire.

7 The coronation of King Charles III on Saturday will be a high point for those who celebrate royalty, but depressing to others such as those in a soccer stadium in the UK who chanted a perverse insult at their King. Which side am I on? Neither or both. Should the monarchy be REspected and REvered, or REnounced and REviled? I have no opinion except that rather than reviling it one might better just ignore it. Or enjoy its pageantry without judgment.

8 On the positive side, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is making swift headway in impressing both Democrats and Republicans as someone sane and REliable. He might REstore the Camelot of his uncle and father under whose umbrella flourished the 1960s even though both were killed (by the CIA if RFK's theory is true).

9 In other words, the Past is alive and the present is either gaining much from it or suffering from its decadence. I believe in the Kennedys and believe in RFK Jr. as possibly the savior of his sadly fallen nation. In fact, while I surf Twitter I find that his words are the most encouraging of all, and gaining widespread support.

10 On the positive or negative side (who knows?) is the UFO craze now getting REnewed attention through the RElease a week or so ago of the James Fox movie Moment of Contact. I watched it and am now in the middle of Joe Rogan's interview with Fox. The MR periods are always the ones in which UFOs come to attention, with their possibility of extra-terrestrial, or super-terrestrial, life-forms. Consciousness-expanding reality, or superstition? Like Rogan, I am in the middle, though the Moment of Contact documentary about events in Varginha, Brazil is very impressive and sincere. Mercury going backward says, "There is more in heaven and earth than you have dreamed of."

I'll leave it at this. I trust that at the least you are experiencing an "out of pattern" time which will give you much RElaxation and REstoration through peaceful, REstrained yet REsonatng REminisceces, and may REvive your consciousness gloriously.  When it comes to all that is supremely important, we should be REsolute.
