While Mercury goes backward (apparently) there are contests between truth and falsehood, confusion and veracity, on many fronts. Of course we see it in politics and in all discussions of the Ukraine war. Is Russia "wining" (if anyone can win a virtual slaughter)? Yes. Is Ukraine winning? No, but the U. S . government, for now, wants you to believe that it is. Lies. Listen to the podcasts of Judge Andrew Napolitano.
As for these reports: Sonnet or prose? One friend tells me he does not like the sonnets. Another tells me she likes them but also the prose essays of the past week. I think the latter are more useful in most cases so here is another one.
UFOs! Psychic phenomena! Have I not mentioned how all these supernormal or supernatural phenomena seem to flare up during the MR periods? I have noticed it for decades. It's happening again. Today I saw on Twitter a clip from the Breaking Points podcast of Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti about James Fox and his documentary movie Moment of Contact. I'll give a link to it at the end of this daily report (a free version with many ads; there are other versions you can pay for). I don't have time to watch all of it before posting this report. It documents a truly convincing and astounding UFO "contactee" incident in Varginha, Brazil in January 1996. It seems destined to become as famous as the earlier Roswell NM incidents. It is getting traction in the public consciousness now because of James Fox's work and some interviews on the Joe Rogan show.
Do I believe it is real? Yes, because there are so many believable witnesses. What does it mean? I don't think anyone knows.
What about your life, and mine? Does it not seem a little like an unbelievable SF movie, or fairy tale? As "Vey Strange!" as super-ordinary Penny Lane? As eccentric as The Fool on the Hill? Last night in walking home from a spiritual discussion, and then too many drinks (a bartender decided to give me a freebie I didn't ask for), I chanced upon a neighbor right outside my apartment house
whom I was glad to see and it turned out I could do a favor for him helping him over a rough spot. In some cases Mercury's backward dalliance rescues us or gives us an unexpected boon.
That could happen today (Wednesday) because Luna is trine Venus while she is sextile Jupiter. Good vibrations and social times.
Before signing out, back to Varginha Brazil in January 1996. Mr. Fox said that the center of the UFO events was January 20. I find that Mercury was retrograde from January 9 through January 29 of that year. You can depend on the MR phase to churn up the unexpected or unbelievable or supernormal. Further, it is very fascinating that on January 20 the sun was at 0 Aquarius conjoined to Uranus also at that degree, and that now while people are talking about the Varginha incident Pluto is at 0 Aquarius! Astrologers have always seen a link between Aquarius, and its ruler Uranus, and aviation and other types of air or space travel. They are also connected with expanded visions of humanity, and the "space creatures" encountered at Varginha do indeed expand our vision of what human-like creatures could be.
