The detective serpent has been highly active, as in the information about Trump's attempt to fire Mueller, and on and on in that whole rather distasteful and ultimately boring saga which seems to wind on and on to exactly nowhere. The S serpent seems to be chasing its own tail.

The barometer is indicating exactly what? Bad weather, here in Seattle. Maybe not where you are.
Maybe the lion will have a chance to demonstrate his or her nobility if given a chance rather than feared and caged. Is the "lion" someone who intimidates you?
Astrology is indeed a just and kind science, showing each her or his place within the Whole, leveling human differences to the point where they can all be seen as essential and needed in the interactions of a harmonious cosmos-society. Then the barometer shows not how one is superior to another but how each has his or her particular superiorities and what they are exactly, often unsuspected ones.
Then we can sit around that campfire and reminisce over our peccadilloes as well as our triumphs, gossip a little, tell stories on ourselves, relax our inhibitions and defenses. Astrological awareness aids all that enormously. We become children learning how to live our horoscopes, with constant amazement at the horoscopes of others. "Oh, that is what she or he is all about! Now I see!"
We may still have an "armed cavalier" side, wanting to forward our own interests. That is normal. But the preceding scenario would help us regard others more favorably so that our self-assertion is respectful of them and therefore more successful.

At the literal level, there could be upset or confusion because of weather, precipitation or water: the waterfall, the whitecaps, and the rapid stream (with broken bridge over it). Added to the |karmic or difficult third| of the week, all this seems to point to difficult weather. If not, then there will be something similar in one's emotions.
Some of one's feelings are irrepressible, yet one's way of navigating through them has suffered a collapse, so that one has to find one's path all over again. One wants to be independent and free (the buffalo) yet also courteous (train entering tunnel) so one hides some of one's reactions.
Yet either oneself or someone else wants to be an agent of "conversion" (lightning striking rock), awakening you (or you awakening someone). There is awe at what can happen in this sometimes awesome universe.
As for being "unambitious and contented" like the farmer--Well, good luck!
