The Part of Fortune in the 10th as today often shows a desire or need to boost one's standing in the world, to feel that one is accomplishing something which will get respect or honor. 

The Bright Hermetic Epoch begins at approximately 8:17a PT | 11:17a ET | 4:17p PT, lasting until March 9 (always approximately two months).  This means clearer consciousness, easier planning, less uncertainty about what others will do or whether things will go according to expectation. It tends to put us more on the "outward" than the "inward" side of things, though of course we still have dreams, meditations, and visions. We channel them more effectively and with less hesitation into tangible acts.

The relay race and the derelict soldier bring out what was said in the first sentence, a need to maintain respect for oneself by keeping to an honorable course and achieving something one can be proud of.

The childlike amusements would be welcome if we could get them in and around other important factors. 

The Magnum Opus, an alchemical achievement in the human soul, is something magnificent and most of us feel we have not come up to accomplishing it. Still, Mars and Jupiter in Scorpio, today joined by the moon, could open doors to such an endeavor.  It has physical as well as spiritual requirements. Perhaps the conductor of the ferry boat has the answers, or takes us where they can be found.
