The sun entered Aquarius Saturday, also Venus last Thursday, and then on Sunday I went to my apartment (from which I am excluded because of repairs) to water plants, and found I could not because the plumbers had shut down all plumbing. So I had to go to a neighbor's place and borrow a pail and water. I became "The Water-Carrier," symbol of Aquarius. Fascinating. Then because of the confusion in the apartment caused by the plumbers rearranging everything, I spilled some of the water and it splashed earth and mud from some of the plants onto my carpet. Not good. The moon was in Pisces, a water sign, square Saturn in an earth sign--water and earth make mud. Astrology is amazing; everything is contained, somehow or other, in the daily charts. The government shutdown over the budget is marked out by Mars and Jupiter together in Scorpio, the sign of "other people's money" and therefore of taxes and of government budgeting. It seems rather likely that some final or some temporary solution will be attained before Mars leaves Scorpio on Friday.

Foreign or international connections seem important. There can be subtlety in one'a allegiances so that one knows deeply within oneself to what or whom one is committed, though not likely to be verbose about that. The two warfare-like symbols draw attention to a need for military diplomacy. Last week India tested successfully an Agni 5 ICBM (long-range missile, up to perhaps 5000 miles) which could reach anywhere in China. "An archer drawing a long bow." The purpose of this would be to prevent treachery, revenge or cruelty, not to promote it.
One surrenders something in order to be independent; but also in order to do the will of Heaven, or one's deeply perceived mission.
We feel we represent more than ourselves as we perform this "mystery play."
