Karaoke, anyone? There the mirror before which we sit is a soundtrack. But the ape is not necessarily a negative or mocking symbol. We want, perhaps, to look better than what we see in the mirror but that inspires us to become personalities. Actors and comedians are all imitating somebody; even singers. That does not detract from the legitimacy of their art.
Chart placements suggest wondering about friends at a distance as possibly connected with your own living situation. There is also work or clean-up at home, financial dealings involving close attention to detail, and a willingness to wait for a younger person to come around.
Ascending a dark staircase, toward sunshine above, is what many lives feel like, mine included. We may be seeing glimmers of that light and feel assured that we will make it.
The "fighting" degrees, the first and sixth, just add some energy to the day, friendly confrontation perhaps. The dark curtain and the mirror suggest a dressing room before going on stage. What role are you preparing for?
Is worship dead in our society? I sometimes fear so, except for the worship of "humanity." That is not enough. The Transcendent One is real as all the deep teachers have known including Jesus, Sai Baba, and Sri Aurobindo. There is a line in the Sabian Healing Ritual (by Marc Edmund Jones): "Knowing that worship is right, lifting man to his place in God's sight." The ape bears intimations of something greater than he sees in the mirror, and bows to it.
