^Prudence Modifying Adventure^

Moon in Sagittarius
|Karmically difficult or sobering third| of this week continues   ** |
but ends Monday at 0:52a PT | 3:52a ET | 7:52a UT   ***

The Full Moon of Gemini-Sagittarius approaches, exact early Monday at 4:03a PT | 7:03a ET | 11:03a UT. This is a high-awareness time (all day). There is restlessness and a desire either to be everywhere or to be aware of what is happening all over the world. Some will spout supposed knowledge about things they don't really know, and sound convincing. Things, stories, and gossip can be invented, and if believed could cause trouble. Mercury's opposition with Saturn demands, rather, mental training and careful attention to detail. By mastering some one small thing, or a few, you could put your life in order.

The quincunx between Mars and Uranus could be explosive if irritation, upset or anger sets in. It is wise to be careful where health and basic well-being are concerned.

Everything said in Saturday's report remains applicable.

{Sunday}  ^Prudence Modifying Edgy Adventure^

Cosmic Piper

P. S. From Samuel Johnson (1709-1784):

I have never sought the world; the world was never to  seek me.

As I know more of mankind I expect less of them, and am ready now to call a man a good man, upon easier terms than I was formerly.

The endearing elegance of female friendship.

Let observation with extensive view,
Survey mankind, from China to Peru;
Remark each anxious toil, each eager strife,
And watch the busy scenes of crowded life.

I dogmatise and am contradicted, and in this conflict of opinions and sentiments I find delight.

The chief glory of every people arises from its authors.

In all pointed sentences, some degree of accuracy must be sacrificed to conciseness.

Don't cant in defense of savages.

Every man thinks meanly of himself for not having been a soldier, or not having been at sea.

Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we can find information upon it.

If I had no duties, and no reference to futurity, I would spend my life in driving briskly in a post-chaise with a pretty woman.

I have, all my life long, been lying till noon; yet I tell all young men, and tell them with great sincerity, that nobody who does not rise early will ever do any good.

What is written without effort is in general read without pleasure.

Always, Sir, set a high value on spontaneous kindness. He whose inclination prompts him to cultivate your friendship of his own accord, will love you more than one whom you have been at pains to attach to you.

Nothing is more hopeless than a scheme of merriment.

[Boswell]: Of music Dr. Johnson used to say that it was the only sensual pleasure without vice.

There is no wisdom in useless and hopeless sorrow.

At seventy-seven it is time to be in earnest.
