~Smoother Sailing~

Bright Hermetic Epoch, lasting until August 10, begins at 10:40a PT | 1:40p ET | 5:40p UT

One disadvantage of the Bright Hermetic Epoch beginning today, and lasting until August 10, is that we can't give ourselves as many excuses! There is not so much stuff blocking our path, not so much backtracking to do, not so much misunderstanding and confusion, so we have to make good on our intentions. This could be another good day for that, in fact better than Monday because the Bright Hermetic Epoch begins at the time given above. 

In other words, we can trust our minds, symbolized by the planet Mercury and its motions. Or, to put that in other terms, we can trust our minds to try, with some success, to rise beyond themselves toward intuitive levels where our certainty is enhanced, and we make very few errors of judgment. Things can go so quickly that we feel even giddy, like a pilot on his first solo flight having the time of his life. 

I must admit that the taste of that I got on Monday was a little disconcerting, as if I felt I wasn't ready for it. I am hoping to adjust with more facility today.

On Monday afternoon I felt for a while very depressed and had to look at the lunar aspects to find out why. It was moon quincunx Saturn, exact within a few minutes. That showed me how often we can be thrown off track by the lunar indications, the minor aspects. I don't see how I could possibly list all of them every day, but experimentally I tried it for today. Let's assume that each aspect is in effect from a little after the time the previous one was exact until a little after it itself is exact. That is generally what happens but not always. So here is an experiment:

Until 2a PT | 5a ET | 9a UT:  Moon opposite Pluto, semisextile the sun and semisextile Venus:  Something dangerous that you are trying to overcome. That is, something you don't trust (Pluto) which could imperil you. Maybe a bad habit or something some corporation is trying to foist on you (an ugly TV series or movie?) or something nasty in your subconscious mind or something violent. But then with the semisextiles, relief from that and a smooth sunny happy relation to something or someone making you feel secure and cheery. (This could come out in dreams.)

From then until 5a PT | 8a ET | 12p UT:  (Moon) bi-quintile Saturn. Smart! You get smart useful insights. They could have a career application.

From then until 12 noon PT | 3p ET | 7p UT:  Bi-septile Jupiter and square Uranus: Tense, and fateful. Mysteries appeal to you and you feel on the verge of solving them. If you feel a strong attraction to someone there is secret potency in that which could go wrong or right but is impossible for the mind to fathom. Fateful attraction. Beyond that, possibly the solution of an intellectual or spiritual mystery. The "attraction" could however turn into dislike or love-hate or repulsion. You want to be free and so does the other and you may feel you stand in the way of each other's freedom.

From then until 2p PT | 5p ET | 9p UT:  Sextile Mercury: Clear thinking  especially where money is concerned. Good ideas about investment or an important purchase or sale. Organizing something at home or in your private space at work.

From then until 6p PT | 9p ET | 1a(W) UT:  Trine Mars: Smooth sailing (both are in water signs). That is, you can push ahead and get a momentum going. Good communication in job or career, possibly with a male (Mars) or strong female. You both know where you stand and do not resent each other. Charisma in a brash way, or machismo. Taking something unfinished (Mars retrograde) and seeing how to finish it. 

From then until 7p PT | 10p ET | 2a(W) UT:  Sesqui-square Neptune: A peculiar interlude. Alcohol is not your friend, probably, or if you indulge, be careful. You are dependent on the Supreme. It is well to know that, and trust.

From then until 9p PT | 12a(W) ET | 4a(W) UT: Nonagen both Sol and Venus: Love, peacefulness, harmony.

From then until 12a(W) PT | 3a(W) ET | 7a(W) UT:  Semi-square Jupiter: Whom or what do you trust? You could get lost in details and fail to see what is major. If you ate too much, indigestion. You could approach the Supreme (Jupiter) with your tiny mind (in Virgo) and rest in the inspiring, restful result.

I doubt that I will attempt to do this every day. There are a lot of so-called minor lunar aspects. It's an experiment. Tell me what you think.

Today is the California primary and I tremble because I would love Bernie Sanders to win it but have serious doubts that he can. I am not a Clinton-hater but I love Bernie's campaign because it relied only on small contributions from people like me, not on Big Money and that is very very important. Also, he took a courageous stand in the debates against capital punishment (murder by the State and conniving lying prosecutors, often) while Hillary refused to do so. He is a good man. I am not a socialist but he has the right moral ideas for the direction we should be going.

I try to avoid politics here, however. 

I hope things are getting more hopeful and clearcut for you.
