After observing what happens in the Via Combusta hundreds of times over the years, I'm convinced that it is real, yet very hard to define. Mostly psychological, it can be spooky. One gets "spooked out." It sometimes seems like the end of something, or else a transition requiring enormous faith. Such faith and confidence would help us today. (The Via Combusta ends tomorrow, Thursday, at 12:38p PT | 3:38p ET | 7:38p UT.)

Still, as mentioned, today and Thursday seem the best days of the week in terms of planetary aspects. The stock market has been drifting downward for four business days, amid global financial worries, but I believe either that will be reversed today and tomorrow or else most individual investors will feel that they are safely in government bonds or some other retreat (the prices [not the yields] of the government bonds have been going up while the Market goes down). The "Finger of G*d" (Yod configuration focused on Mars retrograde in Scorpio) has been rattling the financial markets. It is still there, but loosens on Thursday. This makes particular sense in that the falling price of oil is one reason for the decline, and Scorpio (with its ruler Pluto) rules oil and other liquid or semi-liquid substances. 

Planning things is fine, and even scheming, so long as it is on basics and not something petty. You may find yourself intuitive and sensitive to impressions from and about others. You could control some of them through diplomacy and a detached intellectuality. But you might willingly give up some ambitions for the sake of what you really enjoy doing, which is intimately personal and not routine. There is a playboy or playgirl tendency.Too much self-indulgence could make things worse. But a gift for seeing into people could be used constructively. 

Investigating all intensely is the tenor of his X-ray mind.

He sees how things frost over, freeze, how they melt 

And defrost, how they end and rebegin. 

What is useless disappears; the splendid remains. 

A large and cultivated tract of land is the venue for

His study. Managed by a lady with fine dark features,

Neatly proportioned, orderly and proud, it yields

Simple or grandiose fruits 'mid mounds of earth and stones.

Two horses plow to prepare the seeding of something advanced

And spiritually real. An orangutan, careless and happy, 

Casts seed unconcerned. What he's doing and why 

Only the X-ray vision of the owner comprehends. 

The methodical selfish lady oversees the peculiar scene. 

A higher manifestation precedes next winter's frost.
