I adhere to four stars, even though there are uncomfortable aspects. It is better for business and work, projects and achievements, than for love life, friendship, and the like.
It seems a hard time for astrological prognoses. Too much is going on. If one is serious about making steady progress in some area, one can do it--more easily or rather more successfully than most times. However, the Grand Square includes Mercury's squares with Neptune and Jupiter, which can be escapism. One wants to get by without effort. Yet Mercury's opposition with Saturn is mental discipline. So one can veer from sheer escapism, even in drink (Neptune) or else entertainment, back to serious work on something involving mental training or study.
One wants to prove oneself, in job or career or a project. And there is a possibility of doing that with elan.
I said that we would look further into the meaning of the Mars-Uranus quincunx (within two degrees from June 10 through July 22). It coincided with the Orlando killings; also with much tension in the political sphere; Donald Trump's firing of his campaign coordinator; the struggle in the U. K. over whether or not to remain in the European Union, with the vote on that happening in two days, and, mixed in with that struggle, the disgusting killing of a popular female government person by a proponent of the "Brexit" or exit from Europe, who was opposed to immigration. Mars in Scorpio is a defensive position, or else offensive if it goes bad, and Uranus unexpected actions. Appropriately, the murder has turned people away from the direction and opinion of the murderer.
Yet, as I have said repeatedly, June 22 (tomorrow) through July 15 seems a good time for fulfillment or a vacation or whatever you choose to do to make life better or happier for yourself. I picked those dates for many reasons. One is that Mercury will start loosening the Grand Square as it moves ahead at a good clip. Another is that Venus will be sextile Jupiter beginning that day (tomorrow) by ten degrees, lasting through July 10. Then shortly after that, the exhilarating trine between Mars and Venus from June 28 through July 15. I believe that this forecast is working out, because the "Brexit" or British exit from Europe--which would cause huge earthquakes in banking circles and financial markets, here and globally--does not appear, if the polls are right, to be in the cards. It would definitely be a manifestation of Mars quincunx Uranus if it happened--"independence" being a keyword for Uranus. But fortunately, from my point of view, it appears that the voters in the U. K. are going to choose not to rock the boat. I hope so. The British betting odds are way against it at this point, and the British bookmakers are highly skilled. I had found it hard to reconcile such an event with the "smooth period" just mentioned, and it appears now that that forecast could be correct.
The Mars quincunx Uranus aspect does not have to be violence, of course, or harsh separation. Yet oddly enough, although tonight before writing this I watched a non-violent TV series, it happened to redramatize the reaction of the nation to the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King in 1968. That was unexpected, and carried out the symbolism of this harsh aspect.
On another level, it is energizing. We want not to murder anyone but to prove ourselves with our skills (Mars) in a way which is unique (Uranus). If we are not doing that, we might feel a pressure from within to be doing it, which, if we do not comprehend or respond willingly to it, could turn into an impulse to hurt someone out of envy or resentment. But if we respond in the right way it can be an impetus to achieve in remarkable directions.
Today it seems that we are willing to understand one another's rights and accede to them while they accede to ours. There could be considerable popularity. Your executive side does not meet with opposition but with cooperation for the most part.
