^Non-Material Dependence^
Someone who depends on drugs, even medically approved perhaps, could be on your mind. This friend does not know how to be dependent on the Supreme One rather than on pseudo-material aids. (I say pseudo-material because in all systems of metaphysical apprehension there is no such thing as "matter.")
There are ways of being free within your own mind.
A neighbor's problems may be extreme. How could you help?
You could negotiate in regard to a career interest so that your talents are more fully exposed.
Mercury turns retrograde in a week (the 17th) and is now slowing down; in other words, we are in the Dark Hermetic Epoch and we need to keep reminding ourselves of this. Not everything is as it seems. Things are slower than usual. People are less reliable or more introverted. So-called dreams sometimes seem more real than so-called realities. So-called realities sometimes seem less real than dreams.
Thinking in regard to financial gain could be highly optimistic, then pessimistic, then optimistic. Answers lie in using your talents regardless of whether or not you get pay for them. Just using them, without apparent remuneration, will bring rewards eventually.
What has seemed an erotic thrill, in your mind and feelings, may be hitting a wall of bricks--it no longer thrills as it did (Mars in Leo starting to square Saturn in Scorpio). Laws of karma may be saying "No. Look for a better way."
Yet there are pleasures of an esthetic sort (Mercury in Libra sextile Venus in Leo) whether musical, artistic, or personal (involving human pleasing personalities). The moon in Leo enhances quiet, internal seeking for satisfactions which veer away from the purely sensual toward the semi-spiritual. Eros moves toward caritas. If it doesn't get there fully, there could be a price to be paid for indulgence.
"Walking the path" is not as easy as we had thought. Seeing how others have fallen can help us to buck up and prevent ourselves falling in the same way.
The subtle harmonies and melodies of Krishna's flute are always trilling in the background.
