}Respect for the Other and the Guide{

With the Via Combusta and the Dark Hermetic Epoch (since August 29) both enfolding us,while Mercury turns retrograde on Thursday, the time is "spooky." That means, hard to figure out what the h is going on. So there are opportunities for the "dark forces" to wreak their havoc unless we are careful and spiritually alert. "Keep awake; be alert" said Jesus and so says Sri Aurobindo: 

"The movement (of spiritual effort could be) made in a spirit of excessive hurry and eagerness, of exaggerated self-esteem and self-confidence, of a premature certitude, relying on no other guidance than that of one's own mind or of the "Divine" as conceived or experienced in a stage of very limited knowledge. But the sadhak's (disciple's) conception and experience of the Divine, even if it is fundamentally genuine, is never in such a stage complete and pure; it is mixed with all sorts of mental and vital ascriptions and all sorts of things are associated with this Divine guidance and believed to be part of it which come from quite other sources. Even supposing there is any direct guidance,--most often in these conditions the Divine acts mostly from behind the veil,--it is only occasional and the rest is done through a play of forces; error and stumbling and mixture of Ignorance take place freely and these things are allowed because the sadhak (disciple) has to be tested by the world-forces, to learn by experience, to grow through imperfection towards perfection--if he is capable of it, if he is willing to learn, to open his eyes to his own mistakes and errors, to learn and profit by them so as to grow towards a purer Truth, Light and Knowledge."

That's where we are, if we are on a spiritual path. Fumbling toward "a purer Truth, Light and Knowledge." 

There are potentials of sensing more adroitly what your career path is all about, and intuiting opportunities in that direction. 

Venus has good aspects but also a touchy bi-septile with Saturn, so love-relationships can be beautiful in some ways yet also seriously mixed with issues of honor and self-respect for both parties. You can enjoy someone only if you also care about her or him at a deeper level than mere enjoyment. 

The Jupiter-Neptune opposition increases. Many are finding who their true guru or spiritual guide really is. Conventional religion (Jupiter) is challenged to be more than itself by Neptune. Most churchgoers seem not to bother to try to understand Jesus at all, rather to profit by His sacrifice. I am not sure that can really be done. Jesus said that those who treasured His words would be led to the right path. That means reading and pondering His words every day. Otherwise, Christians are led into the errors delineated brilliantly by Sri Aurobindo above.
