Moon in Sagittarius-->Capricorn ***

I constantly face the issue of whether to focus on immediate planetary motions (usually the moon's in relation to other planets) or longer-term planetary positions and aspects. The longer-term ones now are not easy now. In Sunday's report I emphasized the temporary lunar aspects and therefore was too optimistic.
The longer-term difficulties we face are (a) the T square with Saturn at point focus (Jupiter and Neptune at the ends of the squaring opposition) and another T square with Pluto at point focus (Mercury and Uranus at the ends of the squaring opposition). It is relatively rare to have two T squares at once. Energies are flowing into both Saturn and Pluto, not easy planets. ("Energies" is a symbolic word. Nobody knows why these aspects work, but they do. Sheer G*d-ordained synchronicity is one way to look at it.)
Let's focus on the one with Pluto, accented today by Luna:
Mysterious financial deals. I have been reading in Bloomberg Business Week about the peculiar manipulation of the Libor interest rate by many individuals including a major one, Tom Hayes, an American financial wizard now imprisoned in England for 14 years. This went on during the financial crisis of 2008 and later, but it has a flavor of the Pluto T square so is in the public consciousness. Take your pick of shady financial dealings--they may be going on in spades now, with this T square plus Mercury Retrograde, which can inspire people to do really unwise things. It is smart to make sure one is not being swindled.
There are differences of attitude with someone you like. "How can this person be so peculiar?" "How can this person's obsessions, which seem to control him or her, ever have a good outcome?" "Why does this person's mind work in such a strange manner, obviously wrong about so many things?" And so on.
Yet something good could happen with people at a distance in regard to religious or spiritual issues, publishing, editing, and deep studies. There could also be gain through money dealings in indirect (not dishonest) ways.
Mars is squaring Saturn, increasing by the day. Not easy. The two "malefic" planets according to the ancients. There could be estrangement between older and younger people. One's professional status is challenged because of possibly immature positions one has taken. It's important to take one's work earnestly and carry on with willpower and concentration.
Although it is possible to influence people in positive directions (Luna trine Jupiter in earth signs)--in career, finance, or communication--it is wise also to reduce one's expectations of how they will respond, because of Mercury being retrograde and the two T squares. They feel they have their hands full, most likely. Still, polite requests might be honored.
The bi-septile between Venus and Saturn has always been depressing, in my experience, especially in connection with (a) affections and (b) money. "I'm losing money and nobody loves me (or I don't feel much love for anyone)." Well, it doesn't have to be that bad; but usually the aspect (2 degree orb) lasts only four days or so. This time, because Venus is moving so slowly, it has been in effect since the beginning of September. It will end on Wednesday. That is something to look forward to.
Oh, I forgot: The saints, including the Mother of the Integral Yoga, say that we can reach a point where our love is not dependent on any response from anyone. Perhaps that is what this aspect has been trying to teach us.
