The self-centered nature of things is symbolized by "two wolves devouring a carcass in the moonlight." This is not necessarily predatory, but one is looking out for one's own interests even when in companionship. Treaties and associations may be questionable, or it is hard to know who will benefit by them. Yet one's personality could be exalted so that one feels as if "the president of the country" or an idealized leader.
"Symbols and hieroglyphics on the walls of a spacious hall like a museum" show a devotion to higher thought as an avenue to deeper, more satisfying reality. What is curious and mystifying to one is food and drink to another. People will not see eye to eye about all that, but if you develop your insights and skills in your own way you will have no peer in your specialized area.
The practical result is that you become a healer or provider of spiritual succor to those in distress. This can happen in simple ways one hadn't anticipated and perhaps does not even realize. We have an effect on our neighborhood, and through it on the entire world, in ways which would surprise us if we could see with divine eyes.
