As for the protests, riots, pepper spray and burning trailers Saturday night, I predicted it in Saturday's forecast, first and third paragraphs. Does anybody notice? I pointed out that the |karmically difficult third| of the week began Saturday at 5:04 pm Pacific Time and that was about when I heard helicopters overhead. (I live four blocks from the center of the protests in Seattle). At 7:59 p.m., again as pointed out in Saturday's forecast, the moon entered the Via Combusta and this time it was literally a "burning way"--burning eyes and burning police trailers. I heard the helicopters all through the night. All this got the front page major headline in the New York Times Sunday, and it is rare that the Via Combusta and the |Karmically difficult third| happen the same day. They are independent variables. At the same time, the moon was opposite Mars in Aries, his own sign, ruling sometimes the police. Gurdgieff's belief that "people are machines" seems almost right, because the "riots" (or if you wish "demonstrations") happen right in accord with planetary motions.
Monday: The Bright Hermetic Epoch, as reported here, began near noon on Sunday (earlier in the west, by clock time, and later in the east). Will this mean a decrease in the demonstrations and in pandemic cases and deaths? I can't say that for certain but one can hope. However, some intense planetary aspects remain in the chart for the Gibbous Moon period, extending from today, July 27, until August 11, including sun square Uranus, Mercury opposite Saturn and Mars square Jupiter. What the human race will do with this is up to the human race, not to this astrologer.
I am more concerned with people in Hong Kong and China than with the relatively minor things happening in the U. S., for to be a victim of the Chinese Communist Party is to learn what police brutality really means. American policemen are angels by comparison.
On Monday we have "an old-fashioned woman and an up-to-date girl" signifying some interesting intergenerational communication or perhaps conflict. Let's try to make it the former. The moon remains in the "burning way" and we have "a large ball of fire flying through the air." But Charubel says this indicates "one who has a mission of an extraordinary character." That could be you or someone you admire.
"Two prim spinsters" could show smooth cooperation with someone similar to oneself. Together you see the world as inferior to both of you in some ways. Yet those who are on your side cooperate with you in "a relay race" which can be "thoroughgoing cooperation with others in some vital phase of experience."
Tomorrow may be better for financial decisions or deals than today, but you may sense things are improving. Your approach to money is unconventional, "a youth tossing coins into a cup as if in play." This may seem careless yet could have good results if done with spontaneous or calculated wisdom. Crypto-currency, penny stocks, Robin Hood day trading? The youth is "careless of how others are working" (moon opposite Uranus) so whether the cosmos cooperates with him is up to the cosmos. In his dreams he may be invited to "an embassy ball," or maybe this Cinder-fella will succeed in actually getting himself on the list. As for Cinderella, she could rely on her fairy godmother, the "old-fashioned woman" we have already met.
