Moon in Sagittarius

I have been saying that we are in a new Bright Hermetic Epoch, favorable for definite decisions and forward progress, since July 26 (last Sunday) continuing until September 23. That is something "good" I can report.
However, as pointed out months ago when I looked at charts for the sun's transit through each zodiacal sign, it appears there are a lot of challenging aspects in this Leo month (until August 22). Since we are smart and sharp and forward-looking (Bright Epoch) we should be able to handle them without too much whining, I hope. I am trying to elucidate them as best I know in each daily forecast.
It is always a mixture and so I work with the daily symbols, which clarify the aspects just as the aspects clarify the momentary meaning of the symbols. I cannot predict the result of each daily forecast until it is finished and it's something like surfing on the ocean's waves. I hope that with this help you can fathom what is going on in your own life and work with it more smoothly, with greater perspective. Obviously no one can ride your board for you.
Thursday: Don't be alarmed, but "a bomb exploding in mid-air" is one of the worst symbols. Charubel says it "denotes what is very pernicious." It occurs along with the continuing square of Mars and Mercury, commented on yesterday in connection with the protests, and the now-very-close square of the sun with Uranus, traditionally considered potentially violent. CEO Carter says it can show "self-will and eccentricity" and sometimes ill-temper. People are "edgy or ornery." There is a lack of patience or humility. At worst this can be suicidal, because the desire for freedom is so intense and some might feel that there is no freedom "in this world." Of course, they are not likely to find it in the next either until they gain spiritual freedom, which is the real liberty. They would be sent back here to gain it from where they left off.
That real freedom is represented by "a king, emperor or commander on horseback." This is "a degree of power" which bestows "a position in which one can command rather than obey." Obviously one does not gain such a position by throwing a bomb, so we turn to the growing trine of the sun with Mars in Leo and Aries, signs of majesty and "command" at their best. It is possible to mobilize some such power for oneself.
How? Through wisdom, and that brings us to the opposition of Mercury and Jupiter, exact now. At worst it can show fraud, libel, or slander. It might indicate problems because of others' bankruptcy or deception, duplicity or muddle. There can be exaggeration combined with poor judgment. Reason and faith may be in conflict until there is some resolution of the two, which has been a major quest of philosophers for millennia.
That brings us to the next symbol, "an empty hammock," which shows Rumination, or musing on opposites (the two ends of the hammock) in order to gain a calm comfortable perspective. Then one can be a "ferryman" guiding others across a wide deep stream, the confusions we all experience in life which books, classes and friends can ameliorate. Or one can get on a "ferry" someone else is captaining. This might be the good side of the Venus-square-Neptune vibration, a woozy good feeling brought about at worst by drugs or alcohol, at best by music, friendship, nature, prayer, and mystical exaltation.
Another symbol suggests "insecure affections, bitter resentment and jealousy." I hope you realize that the purpose of these negative suggestions is for you to reject them! In other words, you can recognize the symptoms they point out when they arise and correct them before they wreak serious damage. "Forlorn hope, and loving without power to evoke response" is something all have experienced. We do not have to submit to those today but they might raise their ugly heads; or we can take them philosophically, experience them without complaining but recognizing that the melancholy they bring on is a philosophic gift from a universe which wants us to grow impervious to such suffering. How? is always a personal discovery. The moon square Neptune and opposite Venus while those two square each other is probably what this is all about, yet as pointed out in the previous paragraph the Venus-Neptune vibration can have a happier expression if we go for it.
That could end up as sociality and joviality, convivial pursuits, and happiness in the company of others. Sympathy is persuasive toward the better.
