Moon in Capricorn-->Aquarius
|Karmically serious or sobering third of this week is here, at its hardest today, until Wednesday morning
/moon goes void-of-course at 11:07a PT | 2:07p ET | 6:07p UT
until it enters Aquarius at 5:55p PT | 8:55p ET | 12:55a(Tu) UT
The protests against police abuses continue. Astrologically one major correlation with them is not only the sun's square with Mars, typically an aspect of anger or violence, but the now-closer square of the sun with Neptune while Mars approaches a conjunction with it. This is an indication of something more fundamental (Neptune) than just Mars, which can signify transient combat. Neptune in its own sign is saying "The oppressed, minorities, those persecuted, are my charges and I am going to keep on doing something to protect them." Because of the nature of Neptune, this requires soul-searching. A symbol today is "A woman in an attitude of dejection covers her naked breast with the hair of her head." Along with that is "a cypress tree" showing "a person mournful, melancholy and gloomy. He will suffer much through bereavement." (Charubel) All this may apply in differing ways to each of us. Love seems to mingle with gloom and gloom with love.
"A group of vagrants or gypsies seated around a cauldron in which food is preparing" is supposed to indicate excess in the satisfaction of appetites, plus a lot of wandering, not content to remain in one place. Likewise "a gigantic tent" hints of other wanderers, members of a circus or carnival. You may have a yen for some such outing yet feel hemmed in by responsibilities. If things can be apportioned well, you may have time for both.
Whether your origin was among rugged country folk or not, you might benefit by musing on those you have known or mingling with some now. They might give you subtle clues as to how to aim your "arrow in flight" so as to carry you and your reputation upward rather than downward. Ambition and purpose need to be sustained to prevent decline, or summoned up again with each twang of the bow.
