Moon in Pisces
Changes. Mercury is slow, moving to its station, turning retrograde in a week. Venus is already retrograde. People are reviewing things (police work, race relations, and much else in your personal life) and wondering what the next step is. Maybe you already know, because in such periods we are somehow trying to realize consciously what we have already learned subconsciously. But when I say "changes,," beware. This does not mean quitting a job or ending a relationship or project. More likely it means modifying them or doing them in a different way.
The "man standing on a lonely plain, weeping" wants to just give up. That many do during a Dark Hermetic Epoch (this one lasts until July 26) but it is a mistake. There is a need for more "moral courage" as Charubel puts it. Despondency and lack of energy are just a phase. At worst, they could lead to dissipation, wasting money, life-mana and time through "stimulants, gambling hells, or bad company" (Charubel). He says of Jupiter's current degree, "Too revolting to be given" and urges: "Seek to develop thy higher nature; by such a course thou mayest save thyself." Pausing, resting, praying, and meditating could be part of the "saving" process.
There are positive indications. Bringing them into manifestation may not be easy, but here they are: "A man before an audience with all the paraphernalia of a juggler" "is never at a loss through lack of resources. He is capable of turning his hand or his wits to anything." This corresponds with Mercury's continuing sextile with Uranus. "A woman holding a globe in one hand and a scepter in the other" has a position of importance and a mind fit for governing (Venus's long-term trine with Saturn). (I think of Keisha Lance Bottoms, Mayor of Atlanta, who might be chosen as Biden's running mate. I am very impressed by her.) We are able to get perspective on our privileges.
Some intensely spiritual symbols fit in with Mars's conjunction with Neptune, getting closer by the day. It shows "vanity and self-approbation, with lofty aspirations which tend beyond the possible and desirable." (C. E. O. Carter) "The native seldom seeks ordinary or merely routine things." And so we have the symbol "An angel blowing a trumpet" which could be a lecturer preaching a social or socialist doctrine, as is being done every day now in my neighborhood on Capitol Hill, Seattle. Say Max and Augusta Heindel of Mars-Neptune hard aspects, ". . . irascible, militant and extravagant in speech and action .. . . a tendency to lawlessness and participation in anarchistic schemes or plots." Yes this is happening with the "antifa" movements. Yet they see themselves as humanistic, celebrating humanity as comprising "a little white lamb, a child, and a Chinese servant." The intermingling talents of all are proclaimed as the new god.
