Moon in Cancer
|Karmically serious or sobering third| of this week is with us (until very late Saturday evening)
The |difficult third| of this week is defined by the moon's opposition with Saturn from Cancer to Capricorn. Ali Khamenei is Cancer and Mike Pompeo is Capricorn. I toss out clues. I am not G*d and cannot tell you exactly how all these astrological patterns will work out in human history or in individual lives. I give the clues. Is it not interesting at least that the two men now at the forefront of this conflict are born in opposing signs, and that one of them (Pompeo's, Capricorn) now holds five planets, very rare, one of those planets Saturn (only 2.5 years out of 28 or so) being the ruler of Capricorn, therefore Saturn ruling the planets within it, and therefore ruling the rest of the planets in this chart except the moon today, which is in Cancer its own sign and Khamenei's? What does that mean? I leave it to you. Pompeo dominates Khamenei? Maybe. He really does seem to be doing that. (One way of reading it.) Pompeo, though Capricorn, was born with the moon in Cancer, Khamenei's sign, so perhaps there is some karmic balance being played out here, some need for these two to confront each other (and of course carry us along in the confrontation because of their governmental posts). Capricorn is not an easy sign or an easy month, and many astrologers have predicted dire things happening while Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter are together in that sign for the rest of this year (Jupiter leaves it in mid-December 2020 after the election). I do not agree that anything has to be "dire," but probably challenging.

I made a correct prediction yesterday. Did you notice? (Probably not.) "The lunar aspect just when the v-of-c begins (time above) is a trine with Venus and this is a sweet, pacific, calming trend. When looking at it in relation to Trump and Khamenei I thought it might be an endeavor toward conciliation---not necessarily by themselves so much as by the "deep states" in the background. Someone ought to be trying to bring harmony to the situation and this could be happening somehow, visible or not." The v-of c mentioned began Wednesday at 5:17p Eastern Time; a few hours before that Donald Trump gave his excellent speech about his plans in relation to Iran. It really was a good and important speech; you ought to listen to it if you haven't. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PEyPez-5H8 Trump-haters blind themselves to everything good or wise in the man and this was in many ways a wise speech. I say that as someone who voted for Hillary and was aghast that he was elected; also as someone who firmly opposes his stance on the environment. But on foreign entanglements he has been doing an intuitively admirable job in many ways and I am not sure Hillary would have done as well. What was accurate in that forecast I just put in quotes? I hinted that the moon's trine with Venus might show some conciliation and diplomacy, and in fact Trump said that the measured Iranian response amounted to "standing down" and he said he wanted NATO and other international powers to get involved in a peace process. And so on. It was not a warlike speech. It was in tune with that good Venus trine building up at the time it was written and delivered.
Thursday: The |difficult third| although moving away from the weekends to earlier in the week is still hitting this one until very late Saturday. Despair is not called for, but we have " a cross and a broken key" which shows that we have to figure out how to use what we have, and what we know, in better ways. The "cross" is just the duties we have to fulfill. With the "broken key" these take longer than we wish, so we need endurance. Humility and alertness are called for, because if we were too proud we might not see a "pit" before us, and fall into it. This would be at best embarrassing and time-wasting.
We may smile at this: "A spider intently watching the giddy dance of silly flies as they heedlessly approach the confines of his dominion." We may flatter ourselves that we are the spider. The Democrats flatter themselves that they are the spider and the Trump team is the flies. The Republicans flatter themselves that they are the spider and the Democrat flies will lose the election. Pompeo thinks he is the spider who has the Iranian flies in his grasp. Khamenei probably thinks he is the hidden spider who will win after all. And so it goes. I am glad I am neither a prosecuting nor a defending attorney. "An ape seated before a mirror" may not flatter himself or herself that he is a great beauty, but he sees that he has charm, cuteness, cleverness, and comedic imitative skill, and so why not flaunt all that with a grin?
"An old owl up in a tree" is able to rest a while before his next meal, waiting patiently. The normality of his life is reassuring. He has self-respect and self-restraint, though he may be a little smug. We have all labored long for less result than we wished (even Elon Musk I am sure). Let us hope we are like "a person ascending a spiral staircase within a dark enclosure, with sunshine at the top." We are busy always, and finally good luck falls to us.
