Two dogs running, one carrying a bone, the other in pursuit of it.   Unlawful acquisition, envy and strife. Likely to cheat himself in the end by pursuing unprofitable things rather than those nearer at hand. Little satisfaction; cravings unfulfilled.   Selfishness.   b

An anchor unattached to any vessel's chain, but lying with ts hook fast to a rock, the cable broken.   Terrible trials, with little or no control over them. A very mysterious end.   c

An airplane falling.   Crisis.   s

Two men fencing with swords.   A duelist, pugilist or gymnast; does not admit an equal; formidable kind of opponent.   c 

An oriental-rug dealer.   Consignment.   s 

A field of ripe corn; the reapers are at work 'neath the beams of the Sun.  Very fortunate, especially about middle life when fortune smiles and an abundance is his lot.    c

A woman of pleasing appearance stands offering a glass of some fluid to a child.   Kind and sympathetic, willing to help the sick and needy. Knowledge of human nature, of arts and sciences thorough and well used. Gentle, benevolently hopeful and inspiring, disposed to self-sacrifice.   Healing.   b

The first three symbols speak of some mysterious loss or even tragedy. Let us remember that this is never fate, but perhaps timely warning. The first suggests that the cause of the trouble could be one's own selfishness, which puts one in a dangerous situation such as symbolized by a lost sea-vessel or a plane crash. In other words, instant karma. However, though the airplane is "falling" it has not yet fallen so there is a chance of righting it, escaping from the crisis. Let us pray. 

The men fencing suggest that one can rise from possible crisis to an active part in life, cutting out one's own way, being willing to compete.  The "consignment of carpets" is whatever one has been endowed with to continue successfully in life. There is a very fortunate reward, an abundance of good things now or later.  Then the kindly woman offering healing assistance is any or all of us when we have arrived at the understanding that sharing our good fortune multiplies it.

Cosmic Piper

Is there more than one spiritual path? Yes; if genuine, they all lead to Truth. Is there more than one Truth? No. When is a path no longer a path? When it reaches Truth. Then what? All paths are seen at once in both their divergence and their unification. Truth is freedom from error, misconception, and partial incomplete truths. It sees all reality in its plenitude and cannot help rejoicing in that glory.
