^Subjective Assurance; Social Jousting in Fraternity^

Moon in Sagittarius-->Capricorn
|Karmically difficult or sobering third| of this week is with us until Saturday evening
/moon goes void-of-course at 5:51p PT | 8:51p ET | 12:51a(F) UT
until it enters Capricorn at 7:07p PT | 10:07p ET | 2:07a(F) UT
Bright Hermetic Epoch of more than two months (until July 7) began Wednesday at 4:23p PT | 7:23p ET | 11:23p UT

Although the DHE ended technically yesterday, late, I always said that the BHE began on Thursday the 3rd because that is closer to the practical truth. It is now with us firmly and I hope some or most of your plans are clearer, simpler, or more satisfying for you. The period of what often seemed endless backtracking has ended, for more than two coming months. Armed with what we learned during it, we can carry on.

A young laurel tree, broken by the wind and withered.   Hopeful and honorable, full of projects for the future, but loses opportunities through misfortunes. Affections are sincere, but fate seems against him in this respect. Honors are snatched from him; the flowers of life wither in his hand.  Let him practice self-restraint and encourage contentment.   Spoliation.   b

A dark and sombre curtain hanging from a horizontal pole which covers the mouth of a dark cavern in a rock.   A recluse, a lover of solitude, student of the mystical, possessor of hidden knowledge.   c

A table upon which a right angle and a plane are lying.   Humble and industrious, finding pleasure in good works. Justice, rectitude, and strength. Peace in the service of others. Justice and fraternity.   Liberality.   b

Two men fencing with swords.   A duelist, pugilist or gymnast; does not admit an equal; formidable kind of opponent.   c

A Topsy saucily asserting herself.   Growth.   s

An oriental-rug dealer.   Consignment.   s

A field of ripe corn; the reapers are at work 'neath the beams of the Sun.  Very fortunate, especially about middle life when fortune smiles and an abundance is his lot.    c

The sadly spoiled laurel tree is what many of us feel like during any |difficult third of the week|. "Why is my fascinating self not appreciated, and my sincere affections reciprocated?" Yet of course this can be turned around with the right approach, or at least endured with contentment as Sepharial indicates.

Solitude can be good during such a period, and study of the mystical or securing of hidden knowledge, as suggested by Charubel. Although that is often a high priority during a DHE, we can also continue it, in perhaps a slightly more objective and less subjective manner, during the BHE.

The "Masonic" symbol, brimming over with kindly brotherhood and goodness to humanity, is more suggestive of the BHE when we tend to be more outward and less ingrown or introverted.

The "fencing" is more likely friendly discussion. Why should we expect friends always to agree with us? It doesn't generally work that way!

And so Topsy says, "This is what I think, and I'm right!" Well the child and the teenager and the thirty-something and the old folks all have to "grow" through saucy self-assertion in one way or another, learning through the repercussions they get if need be.

The rug dealer is us as we learn to use what we have profitably. Then we become fortunate as the reapers beneath the sunbeams who gather abundance, now or before long.

Cosmic Piper

b: Signor Borelli, 19th century clairvoyant; interpreted by Sepharial who was Walter Gorn Old
c: Charubel, 19th century clairvoyant who was John Thomas
s: Sabian symbols which came through psychic Elsie Wheeler, interpreted by Marc Edmund Jones

The symbols and their interpretation are intended to apply basically during the hours from dawn to midnight. Often a planet will move from one degree to another during the day, so I use a time near mid-afternoon for all of them, so that they shall be exactly right during most, often all, of the daylight hours. The period from midnight to dawn could partake of the nature of either day or both.
