A month and more ago when Donald Trump set forth his intention of talks with the head of North Korea in May, and also hinted he would do something about the Iran deal then, I gave him credit, in my mind, for planning in accord with what I had listed here endlessly as the Bright Hermetic Epoch which began May 3. I doubt that he or any of his counselors had the faintest idea about that consciously but subconsciously they somehow tapped into scheduling for a more favorable time and it seems to be working out better than anyone would have expected. Even the New York Times has a leading opinion piece today supporting Trump's position on the Iran situation, while on the front page the headlines call the release of prisoners from North Korea a Trump victory.  We are in the BHE. By contrast, during the DHE all the commentators thought that Trump had "lost it" because of contradictory directions and statements. 

A serpent with many heads, all in a circle, with fangs protruding.   A pest and a terror to society, unless overruled by benefics; a curse to relations and acquaintances.  The cursed degree of the so-called cursed sign; yet even this may have its purposes.   c

In the current global political context, that "serpent with many heads" who is a pestilence or terror is, among other things, nuclear weapons.  An indescribable scene; chaos, confusion, dissolving views is exactly what would happen were there a nuclear war anywhere. But the owl perched in the tree with the snake, those weapons, anticipates trouble and so could prevent it. The well-clad men with a taste for dangerous science are those who depend on nuclear weapons but realize the danger and are trying to find a way out of the impasse. For this, sound reasoning is required, and the individual with the analytical mind (perhaps he is also the "owl") may be the only one who can help. Then the large aviary, the global community, can be saved. We have sufficient supplies at present to feed the world--the cafeteria. 

Let us hope some such scenario will be playing out in the near future.

Current astrological aspects include Mercury squaring both Mars and Pluto while conjoining Uranus. This speaks of pressure, danger, and mental alertness to overcome it, much as the symbols. Luna today forms good aspects with all those planets and so there is availability of potential solutions.
