There is friendliness; Mars in the degree, "A sightseeing bus" reinforces a strong presence in the firth and eleventh fields of fun and friendship. The period is gamelike, with "A chubby boy on a hobbyhorse."  There is also "A fat boy mowing the lawn" so we may be enjoying too many Christmas treats. Perhaps in some places he is shoveling snow. That may not help with the waistline.

I warn against making big changes, if they can be avoided, during any Mercury Retrograde period (this one lasts until the 23rd), and yet there are indications of travel or a desire to be moving about, in more than one place. This could sometimes be favorable, though it has a sober purpose, not mere frivolity. There is "A swimming race," keyword: Elimination, and "Pelicans moving their habitat," keyword: Frontier. This suggests pondering where you really want or need to be in the long term. Again, precipitate moves could be premature and dangerous, though exploratory expeditions might be valuable, whether in person or through research. 

Our minds feel free enough to wander wherever they please, "An inventor experimenting," yet more seriously, with Mercury and the sun joining Saturn, we want to prepare or qualify ourselves for something important: "An examination of initiates." Something quite strong and fulfilling should be happening in your career or job which makes you feel treasured and honored, even if with that goes a sense of uncertainty as to where the whole process is going (Mercury retrtograde). You can adjust to favorable winds in your career area and gain, "A flag that turns into an eagle that crows."

Maybe we all feel like "A child of about five with a huge shopping bag."
