There is a desire to feel on top of the world, one way or another. You feel fairly secure in your position, job, or career. What you are doing is making sense to you at some level which is reassuring. Yet there could be upset or anger about some issues you care about. You will stay the course. What superiors are you wanting to satisfy? You can do that while maintaining respect for yourself also. 

A tiger crouching seems treacherous but the passerby

Remembers the cross he just saw on a church steeple.

Invisibly, the king of the fairies mesmerizes a snake

Coiled around a tree. It is hot and there is work. 

Rocks at the edge of a precipice are safeguards.

Above an extensive forest the sun rises while a woman

Takes a selfie with an image of her royal coat of

Arms. She knows she has a destiny to lead the world.

Yet she runs obstinately against the wind, forgetting

A better way. A star with many rings rose when she

Was born. So the tiger doesn't faze her, and she halts

Before the precipice. The heat tells her to cool it.

The king of fairies snuck into her photo while the snake

Raised its head. She trusts her quite-invisible destiny.

P. S. Some of that poem may be about Hillary, though also about you and me. I perceive that although the presidential race is going to be tough, she does have a cloak of destiny, as it were, if the good forces can prevail over the evil ones working through Donald Trump.
